The silence is unusual. What if more than 1 party is involved in this? Like she’s dead for whatever reason, killed in an accident by someone, and he in rage kills that other person.
He didn’t kill her but he can’t say what he knows or he would incriminate himself.
Or he probably did just kill her and buying time.

Yo check this post by someone who saw him. Others have gone to his Pinterest account and noted he saved a bunch of photos of Mayan sun art. Also, keep in mind the murder of the lesbian couple happened within days of this after they reported to a friend that a creepy guy was spying on them at their campsite.

When I was driving through the middle of the desert I had a strange encounter where literally nobody else was in sight. I saw a man, alone, walking towards me COMPLETELY NAKED down the dirt road I was driving on. It looked exactly like Brian Laundrie. I distinctly remember he was wearing only a necklace and had a Mayan sun tattoo on his groin similar to the one in this stock picture below

Anyhow, hate to say this, but she's likely dead. You have to be super-prepared to survive that tough wilderness and especially how bone-chilling cold those Teton nights are. Without proper dress/gear, she probably died from exposure the first night.
