What camera do you shoot with?

I’ve a Canon 6Dmkii and I just picked up a 300mm prime L series lens I’m waiting to get out and play around with. Got the 1.5x magnifier as well so excited to see how the quality will be at an effective 450mm.

Nice have fun with it! I have a Canon T6i and a variety of Sigma lenses.

TBH not a fan of how your taking naturally stained wood pieces and basically dumping paint on them. which in reality is decreasing their value.. but your the queen. i got a wood shop, if you ever wanna come and work on my wood and i'll than let you work with my scraps of hard wood..

Cool thread. I know I sound sexist saying this but it's a real observation that I don't see many women these days doing things with their hands besides typing on their phones and applying makeup.

I like seeing people who have a hobby they are perfectly content doing in their alone time, and do it for their personal love of the craft rather than just another avenue to show something off on social media.

The chalk paint is a hot finish right now, but I find I have to prime really well and then finish with some furniture wax (satin) for durability.

Navy blue with brushed bronze hardware and light grey with matte black hardware are both sure fire sales.

The most I have made on a single piece, I bought it for $35, put $96 into it, and sold it for $625.

Good gig if you have room to spread out a couple of pieces at a time.

Dumping paint on them ouch...

I don't know some of this furniture I love is just old and worn. I want to do a little something to bring it back to life without going too crazy and changing too much...paint a new color, keep original handle...you get what I mean.

Are you familiar with Nichols & Stone furniture? That's where I live...my home town.

A few months ago I won a Nichols & Stone rocking chair at auction for $25. That's the kind of piece you just clean up and flip it. I still have it and almost don't want to part with it LOL...

Not familiar...

It's really not much effort...many people ditching old solid wood dressers and night stands for little $$, just pick up ones that don't require much work, give them a good scuff with 120 grit, prime (shellac) and lightly sand each coat with 240 grit. Paint with chalk paint (2 coats is usually enough), install new hardware and sell for more $$$.

Literally a grade 3 kid could do this LOL
