Not sure South Park should be on here, I mean getting to season 12 or whatever and then being like "it fell off". Well yeah, it is kind of hard to keep putting out great content after 200 episodes or whatever.

Prison break, Westworld and Homeland are the best examples I think. It was EXTREMELY obvious in all 3 cases that they probably spent years investing in coming up with the ideas/scripts for the first season - and then when they were massive hits, the companies came to them and dropped a bunch of money in their lap, and then they had to rush out following seasons that they weren't originally planning to do. And thus, were all ****.

Community was great except for season 4. Which was bound to happen once they fired Dan Harmon...Season 4 was so bad that they hired him back for 5 and 6....lol

Early Walking Dead was good then..yeah

Lost - might actually re-watch as its been a long while, but i recall the later seasons being blatantly 'writers you're clearly just winging it now'....and late rit came out that they actualy were. They had no direction and were just trying to write the most mind-fuk stuff they could.
It was pretty much the last season with lost which is disappointing as it fell off a cliff, i think they wrote themselves in a corner without an end game.

Dexter on the other hand was a slow decline from season 5.

Less said about GoT the better

My problem wasn't even walter, it was Jesse being a bitch.

It took my 2 years to "binge" the whole series because I thought a lot of it was trash. Then I was able to watch all of SoA in less than a month.

Game of Thrones Season 1-4 was GOAT TV at the time.

After Season 4 the show just went downhill fast from the Sandsnake girls to just a lot of plot holes.

Dexter as well funny enough got worse after Season 4. The last few seasons especially were bad,

GOT - Season 1-5 were fairly strong. Then the general quality dropped. Last season was dire.

TWD - Was good up until the that first Negan battle at Alexandria

Prison Break - By season 4 the tension which made season 1 awesome was just hardly there. I think that once the brothers stopped being either planning to escape or on the run, it became just another show.

They're not really the same storyline but True Detective s1 was GOAT TV, and then dropoff in quality to s2 was unreal.
