This. What irks me is a lot of people buy expensive 'virtual surround sound' headphones. But nothing compares to a high quality 5.1 or 7.1 setup. Especially in games with good sound design like the older Battlefield game. You hear tracers whiz past your ear

I know a rich guy with three sports cars (Ferrari, etc), and he basically keeps them in the garage most of the time because they're impractical for day to day activities, so he bought a fourth car (a mini) for 99% of his travels. That's probably over a million Euros into his useless car hobby. I'll take gaming anyday over that.

I don't even understand what people get fanatical about cars, especially since they're not exactly mechanics (and even if they are, spending hours on car mechanics feels...useless?).
To me, you need a nice car to drive around for needed activities/work/etc, but other than that it's just the most pointless hobby possible.
It's not like you can race legally or do any kind of fun stuff with cars anyway.

At least something like quads in the countryside/snow/etc or other wild terrain vehicle (snowmobiles, etc) I can understand as fun.
Personally I love to spend days in the wild, doing bushcraft and other stuff. But I guess others would see this as useless too.
To each his hobby.

In the early 2000’s I built a gaming computer. I would get home from work on Friday with a 15 pack of beer , and play Medal of Honour till I ran out . Usually 3-4 in the morning .
I have to admit I had a lot of fun doing it , and never thought I could get hooked on gaming.

My most memorable and epic game was in southern France , my fav map . I was having the most challenging game of my life, as there was a total of 16 of us in a fairly small map .
I won just by the skin of my teeth almost every battle , and actually lost my chair one time and had to continue on without it .
One guy eventually asked me if I noticed how hard it was , and admitted there was 15 guys all in same game room in Seattle trying to gang up on me lol.
I should have figured that out from their ping ,as they were all almost identical.
I won every game though , and will never forget that time .

I have plans someday of building a new computer corner desk with the a liquid cooled motherboard raising out of the desk .
I can’t imagine the graphics nowadays compared to then . Hopefully Call of Duty is even improved further

My old computer room . It’s torn apart right now ,but hopefully it gets rebuilt eventually .
I would like to extend the desk to the right corner and have another station , that way I could do a work station on the right and a gaming station on the left . I want dual monitors for the work station , and a wider monitor for the gaming one , so it would be a win win

I wish I never threw this desk away , as I’d like to use it as a template for the top . But I’ll figure out the dimensions some how .
I temporarily reassembled it in the basement to see how dual monitors would work
Back with my Fam

OP ethered hard everybody ITT. It's not the part of the gaming per se, the degrading part is the servile cuckdom being imposed by the entertainment industry, you're paying them a lot of money basically to sit down with a digital pacifier, like a baby sucking his thumb. The videogame industry has lots of **** hooked and complitely cucked out. It's pathetic to see so many men just sitting away rotting in front of their gaming consoles instead of forging their futures, it is the ultimate form of cuckoldry and dominance over the dumb and servile **** It's mind blowing how easy it is to manipulate the **** no wonder we own you all lmao.

I would say that gaming in moderation is okay. Maybe 1-3 hours per day, not 10+

As long as it does not consume your life and you have other hobbies and interests.

Better than showering with your Dad as a grown man.

He's doing it wrong. My RS7 has 75,000 miles, my NSX has 42,000 miles and my Evora 400 has 33,000 miles. Keep in mind, I live in western MA where I can't drive any of them for about half the year.

I organize and run cruise events around western MA all summer long. I honestly have never had as much fun doing anything in my life and making new friends is more or less on easy mode.

Lmao . It was strange how it happened. We launched the internet back in 2000 ,so we all bought computers.
One of our installers was into gaming , and I told the guys at work I can’t possibly see how a person like me could even fathom getting into online games .

Next thing you know I’m breaking mouses and keyboards when I lost it . Believe it or not , I was going to hang a punching bag in the room so I had some way to rid myself of the anger lol.
Neighbour's dam near phoned the police , as they thought I was beating someone up .
This from a guy who claimed there’s no way I could see myself getting into this gaming thing

I think daily is still too much . I haven’t gamed for probably 15 years , but really miss it .
Hopefully this year maybe I’ll have an opportunity to , as I’d certainly like to do it on occasion.
Back then I got threw Crysis at its hardest level and had a freaking riot doing it . Was totally disappointed when I realized all the maps were done .

Can’t imagine the graphics and IA nowadays

Not that it matters because he's a 40yo virgin anyway.

Bisoncuck, where does the name MBison come from? You previous accoun was named SpiderSense, also a nerdy reference. So we can safely assume that in between showering sessions with your dad you were gaming and/or reading comic books. Now, of those three activities only one is truly alarming. I'll let you guess which one.

Your threads are just a series of people taking a shet on you lmao.
