Other than the abortion did your religious differences every become a source of friction in other ways?

I suppose, it doesn't really matter if a person is looking for a casual relationship, but for a couple looking to go the distance my standard advice is to find someone who's religious views match your own as closely as possible. Just curious if any other conflicts came up.

As an FYI, it was over before it began.

Consider not dating people that have drastically different religious views than you. It almost never ends well.

It may start off fine but when the kids come along it will split your relationship like frozen water that finds a crevice in the rocks.

In specific Christianity tells you to never marry someone out of the religion.

Honestly no. She never harped on me converting, or being more religious. The only issue I can think of is she didn't like me saying things like "Jesus christ" or "Oh my God", which I made the effort not to say around her. Even offered to go to church with her several times when she was struggling. I don't have a problem with religion, just never really connected with it either. I believe in God, and that was enough for her.

Quite possible. That was probably the only thing we disagreed on when we discussed raising kids, was how much religion would play a part in their lives growing up. But it was never a bad disagreement, more so like "we'll have to find some middle ground when the day comes"
