GRRM writings/books (not his public front) is pretty fair regarding men/women

Some good men (Ned)/women.. but a lot of trash horrible men/women

Both of the sexes (outside of the absolute elite class) go through horrible **** almost on a daily basis

People will point out the pregnancy scene which was horrible.. but there was a bunch of men getting mutilated and murdered in the first eps also

IF this **** was marvel they'd be pushing non stop how Women would be better rulers and everything would be fixed with one as Queen

We know that's not the case with GRRM.. tbh i'd say the current King seems to have done a decent job.. as had Robert in GOT

I mean Danny and Cersi do some of the worse stuff in GOT.. as "Queens"

Eh, I think its more along the lines of her not wanting to marry some older crusty guy and Vis saying "You need a man to take care of you" and her replying something like "I can take care of myself, I have been for the past few years, I don't need some old man who just wants to fk and get royal babies to take care of me." Vis tells her that she isn't being replaced, which is why she was mad in the first place. She thought she would be married off and sent to live on some chitty rock with the Lannisters. You can see her face change from anger to happiness when Vis says to her "You can choose your own match for a wedding."

I reckon whoever cast this show is retarded. Daemon is passable but the rest of them are very average imo.


The hound was a beast in the original series with his one liners and fuking chit up. This just doesnt have the same feel and I dont particularly like the characters. The woke black clan is just bulldust they look stupid with the blonde/white hair.


The princess legit looks like she has downs but appears semi attractive in real life so not sure WTF is going on there.


Im sure this is going to get better once the princes that will be born by both sides come along but atm its pretty average.


I want to see Aegon the conqueror and valeria with minimal woke bullchit.

Have legit not seen a second of rings of power and never will despite loving LoTR, but House of Dragons is delivering so far even with the woke strong wimminz chit. I don't even mind Rhae, bish is growing on me by the episode.

Only problem with the series so far is that even though I don't really dislike anyone, there's no great characters either. Like in the first season of GoT, Tyrion and Jamie were charismatic af, Jon Snow super likable, etc. Even Cersei was an evil kunt but an entertaining one. There's no one in HoD that really stands out.

Daemon is badass but is an actual dick and looks like a foot. Rhae is tolerable but that's pretty much it. Viserys is a nice old dude but if he wasn't in an episode you wouldn't even notice.

No real slam dunk characters like GoT had. Still, a good show so far.

To be fair most characters in game of thrones didn't really shine until season 2-3 and later. The hound basically doesn't exist in season 1, but by the end of the series he's hilarious and bad ass and has his own story. Tyrian (spelling, the imp) lannister also didn't really find his form until later seasons. Jon snow was kind of a Lil bish in season 1. Jaime lannister was always pretty good but you didn't really love to hate him or hate to love him til a few seasons into the show.

So it's pretty early to say there aren't going to be any memorable characters compared to game of thrones.
