the marginal difference in a PC that costs as much as 3-5 PS5's is not really worth it unless gaming is your primary focus/hobby

as a casual who just likes to game all the big titles, the difference in an XS or PS5 is negligible and a run of the mill PC isn't much of a difference either.

This is the truth. You spend 500 on a new console and invite any friend or chick and they are gonna be mind blown at the amazing graphics. Nerds like us can appreciate what top tier PCs can do and it's honestly fantastic but you're paying a massive premium for 10% of noticeable difference. I still think PCs are cool, but your average person wouldn't give a fuk.

When Sony's PC launcher comes out I'll think about it, but I'd still much prefer a console even if it isn't in line with whatever the top tier card is at the moment. Extra hassles of PC just do't fit my lifestyle, I rather spend my time gaming. I got a friend who is grinding he own espresso beans every morning, it's better, but for me throwing a NEspresso pod in a machine and hitting a button has it's advantages and still damn good.

Sign me up For a PS5 Super Elite Pro though at like $1k or $2k. That's an instant buy for me.
