Then combine that with living somewhere that has cold snowy weather for 6 months/year and you're essentially wasting half of the life you have left. Unless you like the cold/dark/snow weather. I sure dont.

I really don't consider my life starting until after HS when I became my own man, started a real career and started traveling. Thus I haven't lived that long since I'm 34 now

As you get older you realise that time doesn't stop. It's something you don't think anything of in your early 20s.

I'm 35 now and have no intentions of having children. LOL at having another living organism became your total life because you have nothing better to do.
You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

My kids made me appreciate life more than ever. It's hard sometimes because they're still toddlers, but the positive parts are something amazing, literally can't put it in words.

Going to get a massage, following that up with a nice dinner out. Sometimes it means meditating for hours on a weekend to center myself again.
So to my mind, making the most of your life is getting the day to day chit right.

As I get older I realize it more. I'm 47 now, if I died tomorrow I would know I have had a good life and still be grateful. I have travelled around the world, lived in different countries, dabbled in a few languages, got a degree, been a radio host, been in a band, got married, trained in multiple martial arts (receiving two black belts) scuba dived in exotic locations, started my own business, work in a decent paying job, have lifelong friends, bought my own house and love my family. I guess the only thing I don't have are kids,(if you dont count Jandels) but at this age its too late and I'd be shooting dust lol. Other than that, its been a wild ride

I think about it more and more, but the men in my family generally live into their 80s and 90s. Still I have a lot I want to accomplish before then!

Yeah, you get older and the time just keeps going faster. I have my share of regrets in life too, for sure.
With that said, I believe we shouldn't be attached too attached to this existence. If so I believe you will probably keep getting manipulated into reincarnating onto this shyt hole under the guise of needing to "evolve", "learn lessons", or whatever.
Get out and don't come this time.

a few years ago i went to DC/NYC for july 4th with my family. we spent the entire time just walking around exploring.
it legit felt like an eternity, and that was just FOUR DAYS.
it is possible to live a life full of new experiences every day, but most people don't. they do the same thing day in and day out, and because of that the time passes by far too quickly.
