Elon could become infinitely more cucked and still only be a fraction of as big of a cuck as the people mad at him for buying Twitter.
Don't feel strongly about Elon in either direction. But almost every person who hates him is such a massive commie ****git.

This, it was worth every penny to disrupt the lefts online domination, corporations these days bow to 2 things: BlackRock and Twitter opinions, if Musk gives conservatives their voices back and evens the playing field it's a win.

Twitter usage was already dying and most of the accounts are admittedly bots. Now the biggest user of Twitter (libs) are leaving in droves (with their advertiser dollars) so it dies faster

It would be like trying to attract new members to join the misc. it’s simply a dying form of social media so it’s impossible

The kids like tiktok now and that’s where the growth is but all these social media websites have a shelf life. Twitter has already peaked and the ceiling can’t be raised or recaptured

It was a dumb idea and that’s why he tried to get out of the deal. He was assured he could pull out but instead was forced to buy. There’s zero chance he even breaks even over decades of revenue to reach the massive sum he paid

And for what? Just to make it until truth social 2.0

TikTok is more of a threat to ********/Instagram, people still jump to Twitter for breaking news, leaked videos, porn, violence, and other garbage you can't see on the other sites.

The entire left wouldn't have freaked out over Musk's acquisition if they thought Twitter was dead - for a lot of them Twitter is all they have. This is just another full blown effort from Dems to get Musk to commit to being anti free speech/pro censorship, the advertisers will be back after their efforts fail.

Why do you think the left reacted so negatively over this whole thing?

Ironically, I think it's a very smart idea.

If he can add transparency to the platform and remove a bias, it will grow in popularity. He can make money, but more importantly, help society speak their mind about topics without being censored, which just causes more anger and division.

Not to mention, pretty much all of his ideas are genius. He'll do good things and advertising will pick up shortly.

Fkn lmao, less than a week and you people are saying **** like this.

LMAO.

Wait until cuts the fat, and increases revenue streams. Yeah a few advertisers have left temporarily for optics, they'll come back, advertisers always come back... They were only there because it was profitable, it'll still be profitable... a lot easier to make a show now and comeback quietly.

Twitter = social, an arena where musk is retarded. He's successful at tech where he's a visionary genius. The skills are not transferrable and logic doesn't even factor in social chit. 44bil lesson?

It was found out recently that CIA/FBI and government in general use the sacred social media platform (twitter, Instagram, youtube,********) to censor information that they deem "disinformation". I suspect, Ellon buying twitter would allow him to get a cut from the government in continuing this effort while feigning to conservatives that he is on their side and will allow more expressive freedom of speech. Making 8 dollars a month on blue ticked users is just a ruse and was never going to make him any real profit.

So you don't think he could easily make back those billions by pumping meme coins on said platform? He singlehandedly sent doge to the moon. You must be very 2D chess guy.

Can't believe how much time he's wasting on this chit. Surely he has better things to be doing. Time is money.

In today's world, most people believe that major social media sites (in the US) are biased, it leads towards a lot of anger and division, and spreading of misleading information.

If he can change that, it will have a huge positive effect on society. He may be testing the waters here.

SpaceX benefits society through spaceflight
Tesla benefits the world through greener technology and smart automation like self driving, reducing accidents, etc
Starlink, Neuralink, all his companies benefit humanity.

Owning a social media platform could honestly do the same, if done right. We'll see, and it may take more than just twitter to see the impact, but I'm glad humanity is trying something different with social media through him.
