Its not 100% luck, but when it comes to investing volatile stocks its about 99.5% luck. Hes not a hedge fund manager making record breaking stock picks. He got lucky, good for him.

What's surprising is he was only making probably 100k give or take less than 20 years ago. If they gave him a 5% raise instead of firing him he'd probably be significantly less wealthy today

I read outliers. Is there an element of luck, absolutely. But if you think that guy only succeeded due to luck.. you're out of your fuking mind. Lol that you think he sounds like an idiot

His IQ is probably a couple standard deviations more than yours srs. Statistically speaking, his IQ is probably 3-4 standard deviations above yours since he's an outlier and assuming you're close to average. If you want to say that's luck, fine, but there's a lot of high IQ people who don't succeed despite having the opportunities to do so

Also you seem to think success is black and white. His success may be an outlier, but there are a lot of people with a relative amount of success in the same field. It's not just 1 guy on top and a million losers like you're saying
