Lots of things in people’s lives influence their sexual preferences and behaviors, so it seems reasonable to realize being sexually abused as a kid would greatly influence a person and make them much more likely to engage in that act/enjoy it from the other side of the equation. There could be lots of reasons for them doing it, but it seems disingenuous to write off the sexual aspect of it.

Kids often mimic the actions of those closest to them.

When I lift up a play weight and show how strong I am to my nephew, he does the same.

When I'm eating a salad, my nephew never asks for any and I can't force him to eat it, even if he thinks it will make him strong like his uncle.



My nephew picks and chooses what to copy based on what he likes.

If someone is abused as a child and they do it to another, it's because they like it.

Now you can say that they only know that they like it because someone forced them but the how doesn't change the what, even if you can identify multiple motivations.
