My case may be more extreme than you but I almost stopped reading when I saw "reinstalled hinge". For someone like you all that app will do is crush your confidence, as per this thread. Stick to IRL. Joining kickball leagues helped cause at least you're meeting a girl that could lead to something else. Either way it will be good practice and give you confidence for the next step. Stick to irl and give it time. Delete all of your apps. No girl on a dating app has the personality you're looking for and if they do then they would not give you a chance when theres 6'3 jacked all-american boyos on there too.

i dont want to be mean but some people are just straight up un-dateable. too much red flags and mental issues stemming from abuse from former partners and family members. that too much chasing chad, been so jaded and insecurity, despite being 4/10 and overweight.

Faphgt is 5'6 - you could have the most thought out well written comments and messages, but the moment a dude on there who has a higher perceived value hits them up - all that is out the window

Imagine the lying going on on there. Dudes are making themselves look as good as possible. With outright lying and close to lying or embellishing. Then increase the pool of guys to extraordinary amounts and if you have a middling profile , youre just not gonna get many matches

But i will say honestly if you get matches youre already talking about better girls most likely

Op is an electrical engineer. Needs to go ham on advertising that. And step up his flaunty game. And then advertise that on there

@ 5'6 youre gonna need to take a few caught on camera vacations, buy nice and flashy clothes and flash a lifestyle

All of these are things "chads" are doing and then downplaying it

I don't have that kind of cash, brah. I put $20k/yr into my 401k and like $7k/yr into my crippling golf habit, and after that, there isn't much left. I couldn't even afford a new Civic, not without basically taking it out of retirement.

is 20k your contribution to your 401k or only your employers?

if it was yours i'd take 2 of that and take a vaca, and maybe another one

then buy some stuff as i said. maybe do it over a bit so it doesn't hit as hard

but in the end, maybe you take a year off from such significant saving for retirement to invest in getting poosy.

If a hiring manager "matches" with you for a screening call, he'll progress it to a first-round interview 99% of the time. He'll propose days he's open, ask about your schedule, and you both find something that works. He'll show up there on time. He'll read your resume beforehand, and will have more questions ready than "all right, now entertain me." And even if you flop the interview, he'll hear you out to the scheduled time.

With sloots, every one of those is optional.
