"They" ain't removed ****.
I still always document, when applicable, that my patients' "immunizations are up to date" in my routine health maintenance visit notes.
I state this for pediatric patients also, regardless of Covid vaccination status.

vaccines would provide immunity
until this so-called covid "vaccine" was "invented"
since you still get and transmit covid after taking 1 or multiple injections the definition had to be changed from giving immunity to stimulating a bodys immune response
in otherwords, it doesnt provide you with immunity, like other previous proven vaccines
do you need this dumbed down further?

So as Bill Clinton used to say, it depends on the meaning of..... "immunity".

Acquired immunity is the development of antibodies and t-cells in response to an antigen.
Vaccines are designed to confer acquired immunity.
The Pfizer trials were powered to detect an effectiveness of 30%.

This is about how much the flu shot prevents you from getting the flu and then mistakenly spreading it to others, while pretending you aren't able to spread the virus.

So the updated definition isn't a gotcha?

Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.
Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.
Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.
Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.

Mumps are not common in the United States because of vaccines. But outbreaks do happen. People who are not vaccinated are at high risk of infection. Vaccinated people who get mumps usually have milder symptoms and fewer complications.

Because of the widespread use of vaccines, cases of tetanus are rare in the United States and other parts of the developed world. The disease remains a threat to people who aren't up to date on their vaccinations. It's more common in developing countries.
The big 3 are still called vaccines.
Maybe this post is specific to Covid labeling?

The phase 3 trials drew no such conclusion.
But, that is tangential to the definition of vaccine.

JLC says people were confused by it and assumed it meant 100% immunity for anyone who receives it.
A product that stimulates a persons immune system to produce immunity to a certain disease does not mean guaranteed immunity for everyone lol. It means the product will stimulate the immune system in an effort to produce immunity but the definition does not say that it WILL produce immunity lol. So JLC's argument is if something is too complex to understand, we should change it to something simpler and less accurate, I think he also claims to be intelligent lol.
The covid shots would not qualify as a vaccine under the previious definition because the stimulation it produces was never meant to provide immunity.
Immunity was never even on the table.
This was a treatment to fear*.

I got the vaxx 3x and still got Covid because a guy in my wife’s office had it but was asymptomatic. I wound up getting Remdesivir via IV for 3 days. What’s worse is that it’s been over 6 months since I had Covid yet the side effects are still with me.
