They removed the word immunity from the definition of vaccine so they could call

Covid shots "vaccines"


A vaccine that does not stop sickness, spread or anything really, in fact it may harm you.

It is "claimed" that you wont die or be hospitalized if you take the injections (you could not prove that unless you had a clone to compare with)


Why do some people allow themselves to be duped into these injections? Is it fear? Ignorance? Unwavering loyalty to the state media/medical giants?

As with a lot of things leftist there is a hyperbolic grain of truth associated with most of their claims.

60+ overweight people should have pretty much been universally getting the shot. Failure to do so is poor risk management.

So you should remove them from the list as their reasoning is logical and scientifically grounded.

A large percentage of the non-highrisk group were dupped into doing it as they were told that it would provided protection for Grandma. That is ignorance. Then they had fears weaponized and information suppressed.

According to an archived version of the dictionary's website, Merriam-Webster formerly said a "vaccine" was "a preparation of killed microorganisms, living attenuated organisms, or living fully virulent organisms that is administered to produce or artificially increase immunity to a particular disease."

The new definition of "vaccine", published in May, reads: "a preparation that is administered – as by injection – to stimulate the body's immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease."

The editors changed "artificially increase immunity" to "stimulate the body’s immune response" because they believed it would be more helpful to readers, according to Sokolowski.
really doesn't seem that bad to me unless you want to die on the hill that definitions shouldn't change to best describe things as technology progresses

The only reason Covid was so easily able to flourish was because of the general unhealth of the major worldwide nations. The "vaccine" was introduced so people like yourself could feel safe again.

Vaccines confer acquired immunity (humoral and cell-mediated). That's always been the definition and still is.

Yes.

They updated because it seems laypersons thought the term "immunity" only referred to sterilizing immunity, which no vaccines confer.
