But ticketing upper class folks having a drink near a park - an excellent use of LEO capacity in NYC right? Clearly a push from AOC types.

Or the offender is arrested, charged with a misdemeanor and is out 3-4hrs later.

Cop comes up to write her a ticket. She is like WTF?
I am there thinking about life, and say "Hey, in all honesty don't you have more pressing folks to cite and issues to investigate" and he just looked at me and did a "sigh".
Imagine being 25 years old, and getting a ticket in NYC for having a drink in public.
As if covering it in a brown paper bag doesn't shout "look at me guys I am drinking alcohol!!!"
Tell me brehs: do cops write tickets in your areas if you drink an ice cold one in a park?
If so: SMH.
Pathetic af especially here considering crime rates. SRS

I love it when ex employees(cops) use that "devil voice" distortion and that fuzzy pixelated image and tell the truth about their own particular districts.
Good times......

Three years later, the majority of these businesses are still boarded up, and they're not coming back.
Oh well, it's the only way they'll learn.
One great memory was this lady with two kids asking me if Food 4 Less was open, gave her a smirk and asked if it looked like it was open, it was all boarded up.
She then asked where she's supposed to get her groceries, I just shrugged my shoulders and walked away.

The Kings, and LA Rosa stated that their grandmothers, wife and mothers shop at these stores, and they weren't about to let a bunch of savages loot/burn them down.

lmao this reminds me of the time when i was on the way to sell my car. i took an off ramp that had a really sick curve, and i punched it. tires came out from behind me and that bitch was screaming... i round the corner all the way and i see a state trooper has some black dude pulled over. the cop started flagging me and i slowed down, rolled my window down and he said "hey chill out" and let me go.
wife and i were fukkin rollin after seeing the face the black dude made as he let me pull away lmao

Maxed out the car we were in, and then under one of those road signs we get the 'blinking lights', lol. That was it. This is what I mean, a fairly chill State Trooper and we were driving pretty quickly on an empty stretch.
Cops don't *have to* apply the letter of the law, simple as.
