I bought CP on release, dropped it after 10 mins cuz it ran like dogchit and that game made me learn my lesson. Now I don't play games on release but wait for all the updates and patches. Seems like almost every big AAA game does that now, the exception being something from an established Sony studio.
I truly cannot wait to play Baldur's Gate 3 next year. It's gonna be so well fixed up and performing like a dream.

Played a bit
It's pretty cool, I like the new skill tree and stuff.
NPC's are still retarded as fuk and cannot pathfind to save their lives ... brb park your car on the street and then you see a mile long queue of cars just backed up because they're literally not programmed to turn the car and move forward and will just stay there until you get back in your car and drive away lmfao ..... seriously how hard is it to implement that.
Police AI is now pretty aggressive and definitely feel like a threat. enemies also seem a bit more aggressive ... although I'm playing on normal and it doesn't seem too hard. Maybe I'll bump up the difficulty later, I just wanna get through the tutorial area without too much issue. Now lets see if I can keep interest in it though ..... do not want to burn myself out before spiderman lel.

I ain't starting a new game and playing the entire campaign again, f that. I'll rebuild my character a few times and do some side missions and fuk around til I get the hang of new builds and stuff. Then head into the new DLC when it comes out.

I’m waiting on this dlc but looking forward to it. It’ll be a while before I put Starfield down as main and Lies of P as a second. So many great games/add-ons this year and so little time.

This is an add on/DLC or a separate sequal? If an add on, you still need the original game or not?

CDPR differentiates expansions and DLCs. The Witcher 3 expansions were paid as well
FYI CDPR gave these for free:
-Path tracing update for Cyberpunk 2077 which is pretty massive as it'll keep the game from aging while people wait for sequel, still the only AAA game with path tracing afaik.
-Next-gen update for Witcher 3 which included tons of QoL changes, gameplay changes, graphics upgrade, a new mission
-They've added new missions for CP77 as well
-New items, new features, new weapons, transmog, etc, there's honestly been a ton
-If you go to the official CP77 website and go to My Rewards, you'll get two free comic book, one is $10 in Dark Horse but free if you have the game. One is for Phantom Liberty
-Digital artbook with audio narration
-Soundtrack
^Those are what CDPR considers "downloadable content", and we've seen other companies charge for those kind of things, some even smaller than those.

Shoutout to the jackass who reminded me of braindances. Uninstalling now. Literally my most hated side activity of any game, I had more fun beating the FF7 remake gym quest than that, even though the gym took several hours.

Been playing update 2.0 for like 20hrs now and I just noticed that quests can now be untracked lol holy fuk not being able to untrack a quest was one of my biggest pet peeve from the previous version

I played CP on PS4 with multiple play throughs last year. I really enjoyed the game lol. The story was okay, but I thought the gameplay was great. Baldur's gate 3 is about to be put off to the side.

If you dig the first equip animations on weapons, you can now always see it if you holster it and then holding B to equip it again
