I literally can't spend it all
I.play video games all day
It's good to have plans
But you have them when you're in the prime of your life
For most people, you'll have all you can do to stand up straight
You won't be traveling anywhere
I just threw away skis,tennis rackets ,bowling balls
Can't do any of it anymore
It sneaks up on you fast
Disability ,pension ,4 ret accounts

Pension plus TSP contribution plus SS retirement supplement
Eligible for retirement at 50.. mandatory at 56
Will probably stay till 52-53 as that matches up with my kid and her age. The pension plus all those things makes it so I'd be essentially making the same amount as I do now (not quite 160k+ base probably not SUPER far off)
Plus we have another union contract negotiation coming up and hopefully we get a 5-10% increase which would keep up with inflation and only continue to put my high 3 up there

I have 90% of my money in VOO and 10% in VXUS for the diversification. I max all of my retirement accounts like 401k, HSA, etc

In today's dollars, my pension when I turn 52 and can retire will be approximately 100k with full medical and a COLA. I will be leaving that day.

TSP, federal Pension, military pension (Medical retirement).
I started out as GS-13 and need 14 more years until federal retirement. I imagine my high 3 by then will be GS-15 but I'm trying to get into SEC, FDIC in the next few years as they have a much higher payscale and Data Scientists start at well above GS-15 there.
My wife is a veterinarian and started with a salary of $160k and she has no student loans from her med school. If I don't divorce her, we'll be set for life.
