It stems from religion, which is such a chit reason to try and apply laws from.

I’ve no idea how a pack of old, 99% male, corrupt millionaires get to decide what’s best for women, or the general populace since they’re so out of touch. They end up creating overreaching laws that prohibit even life saving abortions to be performed because their old, dry brains have no idea about basic anotomy.

Have you seen these morons try to ask Mark Zuck about the Internet? An autistic, blind, feral barn cat has the same level of understanding as those zombies. Yet they appoint the people who bribe their way in and pass chit to benefit themselves and their families.

Where do you think laws of morality come from, secularism? Nope. Your constitutional rights and moral laws come from the 10 commandments and other religious laws. Most of the modern West’s rights and laws stem from Christianity more specifically. If you don’t believe me, trace them back to their origins.

The rights of the private individual stem directly from Christ. Before Christ, laws were based on families and tribes. The sins of the father and son being separated.

They settled in Christian law because they were the most obvious for a stabile and civilized culture, that could be agreed upon by the largest number of people than any other doctrine.

You are being largely mislead by leftists and secular pseudo intellectuals.

I need you idiots to win the election so we can stop pushing the Ukraine war and so that the democrats have to move left and disintegrate the stranglehold that hillary style liberals have over the party. But you're making it SO FKING HARD with your abortion bs. At least Trump is pretty based on abortion.

This is why:

Because they called around with surveys and found that the most PREVELANT occurring issue that conservatives answered as having a negative opinion on was abortion and weed.

So let's say you have 51%+ of the population are against these things by a magnitude of 4/10

Meanwhile, every other issue is cared for by 40% of the population by a magnitude of 9/10.

Well, the politicians will look at that and say the 51% at 4/10 is the most important thing and will shill it at 100% effort.

seems everyone is pushed to have opinions on these wedge issues. being for or against weed doesn't sway my vote. abortion is murder. if you're for both weed and abortion i just consider you a degenerate.

Politicians have discovered that single issue voters are the easiest to exploit. This is how we ended up with a complete communist takeover. The left is rife with a single issue voters, which is how the Democrat party end up with such a mishmash of radical policies and contradicting ideologies.

Socialism/communism are very attractive, and you can package ideas using all kinds of different viewpoints under a single fundamental principle of statism

No they don't you fekking moo moo. The jews you got your 10 mystical commandments from were the backwater goat fukking hillbillies of the old world. Rome was the foundation of all modern laws and they borrowed much from the Greeks, Egyptians, and Babylonians before them who all had codified secular highly functional societies. It was the chit for brains Christ worshipers that set mankind back a thousand years.

The problem with abortion is that there are these edge cases. I wouldn’t have an abortion as I felt life inside of me.

But would these lawmakers want their 14-15 year old daughters having babies to term while going to high school? We know teens are retarded when it comes to birth control.

Also the mother may not know she is pregnant and had a lot of alcohol, weed or worse.

I’m lucky my baby was planned where I took prenatal vitamins months before she was conceived and didn’t drink, but not everyone is so fortunate.

I really don’t care if my neighbors smoke weed as long as I don’t have to smell it.

Sex is no longer taught to be highly risky, and the culture, starting back to the 70s, has come to see sex as part of being young.

I used to wonder about teaching abstinence vs safe sex, but later what I discovered was interesting; teaching safe sex is basically saying “Sex is ok, just do it safely”. In reality, what should happen is young people should be taught that sex isn’t free. You are giving someone your virginity, which should be high valued, you risk STDs, you risk pregnancy, which could both be life long consequences, and each time you have sex, it becomes less and less sacred and special, which can have an impact of the bond between a husband and wife.

What I find even more interesting, is that feminists don’t teach that their body is truly special. To treat your body well, and not to give it up so easily. To respect their bodies by not parading it around in sexually provocative clothing. Instead, they seem to be doing the opposite. They WANT to show their titties. They WANT to provoke men, in a manner that makes them feel powerful.

If we look at cultures, we see that the teen pregnancy and abortion rates of affluent families is quite low. if they are having sex, they are more likely to be very careful. There is a stigma related to premarital sex and pregnancy. Simply from the embarrassment and fact that they might be kicked out of the house to deal with the child alone can be enough to deter them from letting it happen. You might argue “Well, then they are more likely to get an abortion”, but this isn’t true. They know an abortion will alienate them more, and we know that abortion rates are much lower in proportion to other cultures to begin with.

One argument to be made, is that if people are compelled to deal with the consequences, then they are less likely to make stupid decisions. This means, no money from the state, def no extra money for each different daddy, and if they know they are going to have to pay for abortions, it removes all options except for abstinence or safe sex. We live in a time when children are taught that the state will be there to take care of them if they mess up.

Whatever made you think that the government doesn't tax the chit out of weed already? Tax revenue is always half of the reason it gets legalized in the first place.

The government taxes weed so heavily that even making it legal to buy at a local smoke shop/dispensery/whatever hasn't eliminated the black market, and there is no end in sight. Because there exist a decent number of people who are willing to deal with the risks/general bullchit of black market weed to avoid getting bent over so hard by Uncle Sam.

They Democrats never try anything nationally about legalizing weed because it's still too convenient of an excuse for them to keep it as a federal crime so they can cherry pick using it as a bs excuse to go after people for what they believe is more than just weed.

The thing about the GOP is, they won't even get on board on a state level. As I said, even conservative counties like to try placing bans on it. That's ridiculous af.

I agree that teens are having WAY too much sex now. They should be celibate but I don't think they will. It seems to be getting worse and not better.

Where do you get your statistics about teens in affluent families not having abortions? I live in an affluent area and I've heard about a lot of teen abortions, even in Christian schools, but that's anecdotal evidence.

Now they have that abortion pill which sounds like a horror movie for anyone who uses it. I had a friend who was in her 40s and supposedly accidentally got pregnant by her husband, who already had a vasectomy, and it was her 4th child so she and her husband decided to use the abortion pill since they couldn't afford another child.

She told me how she had to look at the fetus and ask her husband what to do with it!!!!!!!!! OMGosh.

Then she became suicidal after that, in bed for weeks, and said she would never, ever have an abortion again. She was religious as well.

I couldn't even believe that Kaiser and hospitals send that pill home with women.
