Yes but the biggest problem is how does your party hold its politicians accountable?

How do republicans hold trump accountable?

We can’t do it at the polls anymore, issues become “yeah we need to work on this but we have to win the election first, can’t let >boogeyman< win.”

This is the options we’re left with when they can’t even field a candidate to run against incompetent leadership.

Obviously POTUS has some responsibility for the border, that's why I specifically said I think it's misguided to hold them "mainly" accountable. Just like intelligent people don't blame cops for the homeless problem when the city ordinance says it's not illegal to camp on the sidewalk or blame them for judges sentencing thieves to probation.

I hate to break the news, but no matter what they promise you, one guy isn't going to accomplish much with chit talk and executive orders. If that's the strategy they are selling then you should be skeptical (IMO).

The Republican party as a group could easily make lasting improvement if they made it a priority though. If not, maybe you shouldn't affiliate yourself with them and vote for their presidential nominee.
Biden his 100% responsible for the current state of the border. His actions/inactions/EOs prove that to be factual.

Only a delusional Biden cult member would try and dismiss that.

Voting for Biden is voting to end American borders.

There's many negative truths to be had for voting Trump....but not one comes remotely close to that.

No 'tard, we want the border sealed because we don't want to support 20 million illegals. Ffs the mayor of NYC - who is a liberal Dem even agrees with that. Seal the border, stop the illegals, and the queefing from behind the keyboards will stop.

So it's all the Republicans fault and your boy Potato Joe bears absolutely no responsibility at all. Got it.. All you had to say 'tard.

That is the right way to look at it I think.

The focus on Biden/Trump (intentionally) loses sight of the reality of party politics. The process is a finely tuned marketing campaign run by the parties to persuade you to align with them. It's the party that picks a candidate, it's the party that picks the slate of electors, it's the party you're selecting when you go to vote, and it's the party that ultimately controls policy.

Part of the campaign is to dazzle voters with bullchit from a presidential candidate. Doesn't really matter who the candidate is as long as he brings people on board. The real prize is that once someone identifies themselves with a party they will likely vote for all of the party's other candidates without a second thought.

No one wants to admit they've fallen for marketing bullchit though, they rationalize their choices by saying Nike shoes are higher quality, or Tide Pure is better for the environment. But by supporting the brand they are still funding slavery and ruining the environment regardless.

Sure 'tard.. Just keep making excuses for your team, pointing your finger at the other, along with calling the whole thing a "marketing campaign." That's a sure-fire way to get results lol
