Interesting, I didn't know that was a thing. You can get charged with an additional crime if you have a pattern of committing crimes. Either this must be a state-specific thing or most of the time they never enforce it elsewhere.

It used to be a felony not telling someone they are HIV positive. I think Cali changed that though. Not sure anymore. Leave it to Cali to be "progressive". My god are they dumb on a whole other level

On a different note/rant, I hate when people say I hope they get raped/beat up in jail. I hate the support for that because it means there is some other felon that is still getting off on dominating someone. Prison should make these people feel incredibly small, weak and not in control of any aspect of their lives. If they get to run a little hang in prison too we are failing.

And that just goes to show if an inmate wants to get you he will. Even in protective custody that guy got to him. Prison doesnt work how most people think. I remember i heard a case where this guy somehow dug a tunnel or something all the way to another pod or block. A WHOLE FUKING BLOCK!! And he killed a guy. Thats crazy. That like one end of the jail or prison to another. Not an actual city or town block but still thats crazy

It came down to realizing that if they incarcerated every twink they spread hiv ,that they’d have to build massive prison the size of California to hold them all .
Easier just to make it a misdemeanour

Don't think it was a big problem before they changed the law. I cant think of one case were someone went to prison before that law took affect. besides it was probably a class 4 felony.Unless you got priors or a chitty lawyer your not going to prison on a class 4 felony. Assuming that it is a class 4
