Video games are fine as long as your life isn't consumed with them. Most losers just spend all their time alone playing video games because their lives suck though.
As far as gym. Its better when you get older. I'm 36 and look better then ever and feel amazing. I can't really relate to most guys my age simply because I'm in great health, athletic, tons of energy, etc.

As far as doing hundreds of exercises if you like bodybuilding/variety thats fine. But no need for it to be complex. And gym wear? A simple black or white t-shirt bought in bulk and cheap gym shorts works fine. You literally only need about 2 pair of gym shorts and 2 or 3 t-shirts depending on how often you do laundry.
I am not. When I was into gym, I had to learn how to do 100s of exercises properly…regularly buy attire for gym…extra bit of laundry….extra bit of ironing….watch out my diet, supplements….

Spending time posting opinions on the subject which are meaningless on the internet is much better

I've a buddy that's 46. He works out twice a week. 1 hour each session. Back/Bi, Chest/delt/tri, legs/cardio. Obviously lifting 2x per week means he skips a workout from that rotation at least once a week. So he doesn't even train every muscle group 1x per week consistently. Workouts are just an hour long bro style. Smashing free weights. No tracking weights. No tracking his diet. No progressive overload. Etc. Just get in, lifts some weights, get a good pump. He basically just does whatever he feels like and whatever gives him a good pump. He hits each muscle group like every 9 days or. So worse volume then 1x per week.
Dude has been consistently lifting for 30 years. But has been working out 2x per week for the 6 years I've known him. Two hours per week in the gym and he has more muscle mass and a better physique then 99% of men in his age bracket. Meanwhile dudes whine about how hard it is to be muscular/athletic when they get past a certain age…. Lmao.
