ehh, francis cashed in while he was hot and can now ride off a rich man. and he could probably still do a $5M+ mma fight later if he wants it

Fury fights to the level of his opposition. He’s lazy, but when he gets motivated he’s magic in the ring. I remember when Fury came out of retirement and looked like CHIT against Otto Wallin. He got his ass beat around the ring against that Swedish tomato can, squeaked out a narrow win and then somehow put on a masterclass against Wilder in his next 3 fights. Everyone thought Wilder would put Fury away with ease.

I’m very interested to see the version of Fury who boxes Usyk. I still have hope.

that is debatable.

his response to them asking him if he is going for 3 times world champion was weird. responded with no confidence saying it was too much pressure and change the topic. and turned to the crowd. not sure he is 100% after taking usyk's flag the last time he lost to him

jesus H that knockout was brutal

guess it's onto Fury vs Usyk now, a proper boxing fight, let's see if Fury can bring his A game in that one, he'll have to against a slick boxer like Usyk

Anthony Joshua's accent is proper english.

It's way better than the ebonics that blacks speak here in the States.

maybe but remember Wilder only fought bums and he made Fury look good because he isn't great beyond power and determination. as exposed by Parker

now the next 2 fights will really test Fury's legacy + skillset

Usyk (and a rematch?)
AJ

unless he makes excuses somehow

Big Frank has been training too much pure boxing lately

He wouldn't have just stood there frozen in his MMA days and let someone blast him with a lead right

MMA guys expect anything at any time, but boxers are used to conventional combos that start with jabs

Fury struggled with Ngannou and Otto Wallin.

Why?

Because everyone is unique. Sometimes it's like rock paper scissors. Like the Joseph Parker fight. JP beat the golden bull. JP lost to Joe Joyce. The golden bull beat Joe Joyce.

In MMA he woulda been GNPed into a stoppage after that knockdown. Instead of being given 10 seconds and having the ref land an extra clean blow when he's still very dazed.

Should the martial arts be mixed?

Fury is like mentally retarded or something, incredibly inconsistent but on his rare "on" nights he's a special fighter.

When Fury fought Klitschko. It looked awkward and unaesthetic.

When Fury fought Wilder. The fight looked much more aesthetic.

Apparently Ngannou was asleep for 3 minutes after the KO.

That’s fkin BAD. Usually pro fighters will be out cold for 15-30 seconds at most. Gotta be permanent brain damage from such a srs knockout. The doctors woke him up with oxygen.

And he's supposed to come back and fight some monster in the PFL. I have a feeling, it's over for him not only in boxing but in MMA as well. Props to him though, he took 3 hard shots before finally getting KO'd, the man ain't ever gonna be the same.

I want to say at least he made $20M, but with taxes, trainers, agent etc I fear he will be left with only a paltry sum for a potentially life altering KO.
