no spoils. you just got to watch it brah. but no, that scene was not in the movie. also, the fight scenes in general lacked location diversity. there also wasn't a stuffed zoo or a massive polar bear.

I haven't seen original Swayze Movie so I can't compare it to the new one, but it was pretty fun to watch.

Connor was a little bit over a top in few scenes, but overall lolzy. Had a few laughs at some jokes.

Enjoyable, but not memorable movie.

Saw it last night. My verdict is 6/10. Movie would have failed miserably without Gyllenhaal and McGregor.


I liked the action, the dialogue was corny as hell, some character just utter cringe. I was really bemused by how much of a different character Dalton is in this one. He's not the philosophical type that Swayze was. He's more of a Jack Reacher type figure, the itinerant lone-wolf type.


I had to deduct points though, for:

a) No throat rip! Y U no throat rip?

b) No Wade Garrett/Sam Eliot cameo. Wade Garrett is a mogger. You have to have Wade Garrett.

c) No "I used to fck guys like you in prison" line. Weird sexual threats are part of Roadhouse!



But definitely would like to see McGregor play more douchebag villains in upcoming films.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.
