discount tire is ALWAYS slammed full with a 2-3 hour wait. i just walk to eat somewhere and look around home depot. they also used to rotate tires for free no matter where you bought them…now it's like $20-30

Have never seen evidence of that in my life, worked as a mechanic for years; the only time uneven tire wear matters is if it's AWD(you have to replace all 4 at once)
JFL I just went & checked the tread depth on one of my RWD vehicles & the front are 1.5mm taller despite all 4 being put on at the same time
Raising a vehicle from all 4 corners on lift arms at once is entirely different from using a jack on one corner
You place a jack under the k-member/rear differential housing/subframes; not the pinch welds, they can fold over like paper
I've seen instances where people did that & then their door wouldn't open or close anymore, the cabin is the frame on a unibody car

It is exactly the same. The other 4 tyres are spreading the load when you raise one off the ground. Literally been doing it for close to a decade on various cars using these pads and have yet to have a pinch weld fold or even start to show signs of rust. The proper jack points are reinforced, if the door doesn't close after, you went full retard and jacked it from the wrong place.

Take it to the mexican tire shop and they will do it in 15 minutes, no pesky waiting or paperwork or any of that nonsense.

Man you can't do anything because of this traffic. Just lines everywhere and people driving like it's the Daytona 500. Just drove past the car shop and the lot is overflowing with 40 cars.

last time a shop took my tires off, they cross threaded one of the bolts and I ended up having to snap the stud in order to get it off, which was a bitch to replace because it was on the hub where the emergency brake is.
cool story, but long cool story short is that a free tire rotation at a place where they hire 16 year olds and mexicans to do the work might end up costing you more time or money.

The neighbours have an adult (probably autisitic) son.
Never seen him work a day in the 12 years I've lived here.
The parents have never worked either.

I only rotate when I buy two new tires. Rotating just means you will eventually buy 4 tires at once. Now if your alignment sucks then the tires could wear faster because they do not make proper contact with the road otherwise your 2 drive tires will generally wear faster and need replacement but the other 2 will last much longer. Probably nets out evenly in the end but that is how I do it.

All the metro areas are slammed man. You cannot hardly do anything anymore unless you go to the country. I mean it was bad around 2021-2022 but since then it's at least 5x worst.
These people have to be very wealthy to be out spending like this too. It isn't just 30k government money.

The average salary has gone up $7K but that means nothing when you're paying 3x as much for food, gas, rent etc etc
I'm telling you everyone is using credit to purchase every day items, it's never been easier to secure a credit card; a 550 score will get you a $1000 limit right now thanks to Xiden's legislation
Once they max it out they just get a new card lmao
65%+ of car loans are already defaulting; just wait until all these mortgages get foreclosed on over the next few years

I'm glad other people are noticing this ch*t. It's ludicrous. During weekdays used to be GOAT to zip around and get errands done with almost no one else out. I think like 30% of adults aren't working anymore.

Xiden passed legislation allowing minorities, and only minorities, to secure mortgages with basically zero credit and no money down
So cockroaches are moving out of apartments and into busy suburbs, they'll lose those houses soon though
