Its entirely possible they were serving search warrants not arrest warrants. Assuming Diddy is known to be armed. Is a flight risk. And hangs around other dudes that are known to be armed. Law enforcement and the justice system does not work like that. In order to have a case you first have to establish a crime was committed. Most of the time, you need a victim who wants to go on the record and pursue charges. For some crimes the government can be the victim. But that has to be established and is dependent on the circumstances.

Even if you know someone is committing crimes. You need a victim. Then you need to gather evidence that said crimes are being committed. Enough evidence to convince a judge & jury of their guilt.

In many cases. Law enforcement simply falls short an cannot produce enough evidence for a prosecution. Hell, sometimes the evidence is there. But you present it to the district attorney prior to an arrest and he declines to prosecute. Usually because he feels like its a losing case. They may 'KNOW' someone is guilty. But that doesn't mean they can convince an impartial jury he is guilty. Law enforcement in America has very little power. 'Arresting' someone is just a short detention. Sometimes as short as 30 minutes to 60 minutes. If the justice system above LE will not proceed forward with the case. An 'arrest' means nothing. Furthermore in there are literally dozens of ways LE can fall short and fukk up which can destroy a their case in court.




The justice system has nothing to do with guilt or innocence. Its literally just a game where you try to convince people that someone is guilty. And the other person tries to convince people they aren't. Its as simple as that. Once you understand and accept it. Its very easy to understand.
