The fact that it is NYC is almost immaterial, as only hyper partisan people, of either side, will be on the jury in Trump cases. Any "normal" person would do everything in their power to get out of being on that jury.

So Donald Trump is guilty because Michael Cohen is guilty in federal court? Still don't have the jurisdiction to say Trump is guilty just because Cohen was. Trump has never been found guilty in a federal court. Very shady application of the law.

the question is about intent, not actual crime. Trump didn't have to actually commit the other crime, nor does the DA have to show that he did.

They just have to show he had intention of aiding or concealing the other crime. Cohen's guilty plea could be sign that Trump knew of the other crime, which would support a conclusion that he had the intention of aiding or concealing it when he falsied the records
