Horseshoe theory. There are tons of similarities between far right and far left the more extreme you get, but you typically don't see NatSoc guys talking like this.

Why on earth would our elites do this? There are many reasons, but the simplest is because capitalism is unsustainable, and they knew it: Climate change and resource extraction would catch up eventually.
There were lots of nuggets in the manifesto that lead me to believe he was a lefty. He specifically starts off bashing Thiel, who is a boogeyman on the left because he is one of the few sort of conservative billionaires. He blames Thiel for Silvergate Bank failure, which was started in part due to the SBF fallout. That was a pretty important thing to leave out that I am sure not very many people caught.

It might be just that. More obvious lefty crazy would be Trump winning and somebody doing this in protest of his win in court. This dude was in deep.
