Not only that but Airbus planes have fly by wire…ie they pretty much fly themselves but there are several instances where the best pilots in the world can't save it from crashing…if for example the pitot tubes malfunction or if the hydraulics go out…but yeah…for the most part it is pilot error or lack of training…

To understand what I mean, let us look at cars.

There are millions of cars in Sydney which is a relatively small city in a lowly populated country.

Accidents happen every day here and there are many bodywork shops around - but not because the brakes fail spontaneously, but due to driver negligence 99% of the time.

When they do fugg up it's due to the owner's and/or automotive technician's negligence when servicing the car, not because a perfectly fine and functioning brake system just burst.

Same as these airplane calamities - pretty sure that whenever they do an assessment after an atrocity occurs, it's due to the airplane technicians negligence.

No..you're correct..im just saying there are instances like how Boeing just refused to train pilots on that MCAS system which resulted in those 2 crashes…why? Because it would cost too much for simulator training.

See sig.
This is known as a 'tank slapper', it's when severe turbulence upsets the fuselage causing harmonic resonance which kills airspeed and transitions into a gyroscopic stall. The pilot could never recover from the stall once it started. Most airplanes have better designed airframes to prevent tank slappers in the first place. So don't worry, the chances of it happening again are very low, about 8%.

Only thing I hate about flying is that after landing my ears usually won't pop until the next day.

Annoying as phuk. They are fine going up but coming back down they phuk right off.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

OP, look at this: https://www.flightradar24.com/-33.87,151.20/4

That's how many planes are in the air right now . There are literally one million people in the air as we speak, and there always has been since you were born - the people just switch around.

Look at all those planes. They're absolutely fine and will all get to their destination safely. Tens of thousands and you can see in the site, they blanket the air like locusts. More planes than you can poke a stick at going every which direction.

Sometimes, a bit of perspective helps.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

Gotta say, flying never, ever bothered me, I did feel slight anxiety when going to Hawaii and it was nothing but ocean.

What's the track record on this airline? I guess it doesn't matter because even a company like United has crashes.
