Anyone with a full pink license can drive on the motorway, I’m don’t have a green license anymore (learner drivers can’t go on motorway correct) so what you on about?
Although I’ve only driven on it a handful of times it’s easy tbh, just stay in left lane and occasionally gap the HGV/LGV crew.

We have 'P' plates for people who've recently passed, but they're completely optional and only massive squares put them on their car lol.
The only difference as far as i know for new drivers is the sky high insurance premiums, and IIRC you can only accumulate 6 points on your license before getting your license revoked (so say, if you're caught speeding twice), instead of the 12 you're allowed after 2 years.

There’s a P plates for new drivers but it’s completely optional, you don’t have to put them on.
I never bothered with P plates though cos I didn’t want to get taken advantage of by dickheads on the road.

It’s mostly tight parking spaces, having to go mega slow to squeeze between cars etc at 5-10mph where I’m not that confident.
That’s why I’m a massive niche when it comes to driving.

Motorway/Freeway driving is easy, it's roundabout's that will sort the men from the boys.

Also narrow country roads where the traffic runs in both directions.

It’s not uncommon to be 25+ and not drive where I live, hell I know legit 50 year olds IRL who have never even sat behind a wheel of a car (srs)
Car culture is completely different if you’re a citycel in the UK. Obviously if you live in a more rural area with poor public transport than yes driving will be way more common among young people.
Also I’ve been on 6 hinge dates in the past 3-4 months and 3 of them didn’t even drive or have a license lol.

Ibby I've been driving since I was 17 and I've never crashed into anything or written a car off (that wasn't being used for rally purposes). You've been driving 15 minutes and already crashed into a big yellow object that wasn't even moving lol.

Absolutely blown away by the lack of UKcels that can drive a car. We have states here where you can get a license at like 15. Most get it by 16 or 17 if they’re retarded.

It’s not uncommon to be 25+ here and not know how to drive lol.
Having a car isn’t really essential here unless you live in the middle of nowhere or a rural countryside but it does make my life easier and more convenient, especially if I want to travel at night.
Also the test standards here are much higher and involves driving in traffic on main roads, multiple junctions/roundabouts, manoeuvres etc anyone can ‘just drive’ but to pass by the examiners standards is much more difficult which is why more than half of Brits there driving test atleast once or twice or even 3+ times (like me lol)

At my work I’d say about 70% drive and the average age is around mid 30’s (ranging from 20 to 67)
My point is Muricans or people who live in a bubble think 99% UKcels have a full license by 17 but that’s far from reality.
Yes majority of people do pass between 17-24 but it’s not unheard of to be 25 or 30+ and not drive.
Even if you apply for a job generally you get asked IF you drive, it’s not an automatic assume.

When did you become fully qualified? Was it when you ran into a parking sign inside a gas station lot? What happens when you run over a pedestrian? Is that how britbongs become fully certified?
