No, the tat is supposed to mean they honor the person. So, it's really the opposite.

For instance, lots of male scumbags get tats of their "kids" on themselves but never live with or take care of their kids.

So, the tat is a "false advertisement" that they care, when they don't.

Normal people don't get tats of their kids on them because their kids are always on their minds.
