I am conflicted with this topic. On the one hand, I personally have never taken issue with Bodhy. His slightly abnormal posting style has never inspired me to "hate" or even dislike him. He has made some very smart posts over the years.

On the other hand, Samrai seems like such a mature, decent, level-headed guy (srs) who would not dislike someone without reason.

It seems like even trying to defend Bodhy draws ire these days. It almost draws parallels with how you are not supposed to associate with child sex offenders in prison whatsoever.

On a basic human level sure, I try to make sure I have empathy and compassion for just about everyone. But most of the hate he gets, he brings in himself. I don’t know what the deal is with the misc exactly, but I’ll give my POV.

I have noticed that there are several miscers who seem in alignment on everything. So, like, when I defend TheAdlerian, for example, it’s the same handful of miscers that crawl out of the woodwork just to say disparaging and mean chit.

I’ve noticed a lot of these are the same miscers that hate Bodhy.

Anyway, my point is, there seems to be something of a group of similarly aligned miscers with similar values who go around hating on the same people.

I don’t think it’s a coordinated effort as such, just there’s a small group that are all on the same wavelength or something.
