I did it. I spent >$10k on a watch that isn't a Rolex. Will be here on Tuesday and will post photos.

Really hope I don't regret going titanium over stainless.

Don't nearly get it out and wear it as much as I should. Going to go back to the Rolex AD and show some interest in other pieces soon. My younger sister is graduating college and my parents and grandparents want to get her a Rolex. I think she's going to get a blue dial datejust 32 mm. So I might try and see if they'll give me a model I'd like if I purchase a woman's watch with it. The batman is still my number 1 most desired piece, but I really like that white dial explorer 2 also.

Hearing venoms story of getting a batman within a few months might mean it's worth a shot.

I live in the mountains in small-town Georgia. So none close by. One in Buford, Ga which is about an hour away, which is where I got my sea dweller, and the next closest would be Greenville, SC or Atlanta. About an hour 20 to either one.

That’s not too horrible. Go in with your Sub, seem interested and ask to be put on the list for a GMT. I think the hype is dying out and I’ve been hearing a lot of people are finally getting their pieces without having to wait too long a time or having to suck their AD’s cock while buying **** they don’t even want.

I’m looking for a good diver for small wrists. Something functional. Submariner is an obvious choice. I’m also looking into Blancpain, Omega, Oris, Tudor, and Seiko.

The most affordable Swiss watch that suits my wrist is this:




I like it a lot, but part of me says it’s just cope for not buying a sub, which I objectively like more.

Just hold off for the Submariner…but you can get the Diver '65 fairly cheap, so I don't think it'd be a bad buy while you wait for the Sub. If you need to scratch the itch that is.

Longines has some budget divers that, from what i've read, people love…might be one to look into.

It feels so strange putting this on. Most expensive timepiece I've owned before this have been my Seamasters. Knowing what this cost and that it's considered in totally different stratosphere of horology… almost makes me feel unworthy.

It's absolutely fukking gorgeous. But I'm going to have to convince myself not to feel guilty and return it for a Bathyscaphe or something.

Ty mane! This one pushes the size limits for me. In stainless it might have been too much.

If my wrists were a bit smaller, the bathyscaphe would have been an easy call. I just hope the jumbo divers never go out of style!
