I think between my 3 accounts and my wife's I have 60k in them, I've rotated a lot of my other positions into Suncor as well. They probably have the most room to run. Balance sheet was a bit more beat up than most, but then again Cenovus was even worse and they've made huge gains. I wonder if all this ESG investment BS is effecting them. I don't know how much of their investors were pensions/gubment funds.

Probably 80% of my 300k account is either in Imperial Oil, Cenovus, Suncor, Altagas, and MEG Energy. Lets see if it pays off Cotton.

DOCS and BROS are both good prices imo. long-term diamond hand holds.

DKNG has a $20b valuation. MGM also has a $20b valuation. WYNN has a $10b valuation…. Does DKNG seem fairly priced to you considering all these casinos have an app now?

Hmm… ok, so if buying one call is x100 it means I need to have 3k dedicated to this, as in my purchasing power? How much can I lose, and how much can I make? What do I do after I click buy? When do I take the next action after that?

valuation (market cap) is the most important thing to look at when deciding to buy a stonk. It is the literal value of the business.

Draftkings total value is $19.89b. They literally are only a gambling app. No hotels, no casino buildings, just an app.

MGM's total value is $21.41b. They have a gambling app, they also have hotels with casinos, and an existing customer base who will use their gambling app over every other app because they are already rewards members with MGM.

WYNN's total value is $9.95b. They are a lot like MGM, just a bit smaller, they also have an app exactly like Draftkings, but are somehow only valued at half of Draftkings…. That doesn't compute in my world.

I bought DKNG thinking they would be the only app to offer gambling; NOT EVEN CLOSE. Everyone and their dog offers a sportsbook app now. Apparently, there is almost zero barriers to entry.

It had a good run for today. I sold the remaining options, and stock in between $2.50-$2.60. Had like a $1.20 entry.

This here at $2.20ish looks like a re entry for a quick day trade. It’s showing some signs of strength.

Edit: sell wall at $2.40 now. But they’ve been falling off all day. Was a 300k wall at one point.

The play today was GWH and I couldn’t get an entry since webull isn’t allowing me to trade it. Was pissed. My game plan for today was an entry at $14.

Good breakdown and I agree, I was a big fan of DraftKings last year, but with the players entering right now, I don’t like their chances to maintain a large market share. MGM is probably going to be top dog, they’ve got the brand recognition already and Wynn looks good too, they could potentially surpass draftkings as well.

Agreed, I'm holding onto everything else right now. Q3 reports should be good, these companies should be generating even better free cash flow that will allow more dividends and buybacks. Cenovus upping their dividends would be great.

Alberta as a whole is gonna benefit massively, the provincial budget was set with oil prices averaging like $45 this year iirc

They are integrated which means they are profitable even if oil is like $35 per barrel whereas other companies need oil to be around $50-$60 to be profitable. Suncor is one of those companies you can safetly hold for a very long time without much price fluctation. Canada's entire economy depends on oil. The 3rd and 4th quarter will be great, they are doing lots of stock buybacks, paying down debt, and hopefully will increase the dividend which will encourage even more hedgies invest with them. ESG is bullchit these companies will go up for sure

My risky plays are CDEV and GTE…highy levered comanies with lots of debt, however the inflation rate being higher than the interest rates chews away at the debt.. Also many of these companies still have lots of room to run because they hedged themselves during covid..so they still arent fully benefitting from the current oil prices. Once we go into 2022 they will be
