I need to temper these expectations…it's case keenum we are playing against.

Rams let the game get away from them. Gurley is basically been removed from the game if we can get a FG here.

Hyde back in. He is getting some big hits to the head. Glad to see a good rotation with the backs. That really should help keep them all fresh.

I'm afraid this will be similar to last season with a great week 1 and then disappointment the rest of the way lol…but i'm ok with it.

Rams offense is chit outside of Gurley but still it's awesome to see the defense playing well. Hopefully they shut these guys out and get a few more turnovers. Another Hyde TD here would be nice.

Blaine Gabbert has played like complete chit. This is one of the worst "good games" I have ever seen. 3 awful throws that should've been easy completions and 2 throws that should've been INTS.

I've been a little harsh on him mostly due to some of those throws. However I will give him credit for not panicking out there and certainly doing a good job running the ball.

He definitely needs to fix some of those throws though. Game should be a blowout now and he's gotten lucky on a couple of plays. Guys are getting open(holy crap that's something new and exciting) but he has to hit them.

The play he made on the pass to Draughn before he fumbled it away was really nice. Hopefully he does a better job in the 2nd half and moving forward connecting on those passes.

We can win with him if the defense and run game have a good game. Feels like Alex 2.0 honestly. It's not a bad thing but I wish he'd take more chances.

Heath Evans is a mongoloid don't pay attention to him. It would be nice to see us keep putting up the yards/points to see him flap his gums trying to downplay it.

inb4 - teams haven't seen the 49ers yet. They'll figure out this offense by week 2.

And considering we have to play in Carolina on short rest while they have lots of time to prep and don't want to go 0-2 he'll likely be right because they'll be tough to beat and that defense is a lot better than the Rams and Cam Newton is a hell of a lot harder to defend than Keenum.

After the half I would expect the Rams to start stacking the box. Hopefully gabbert can start making some throws.

Offensively for the Rams not sure what they will do. It is nice see us shut them down.
