AR's are cheap enough that you can get the 22LR separately for plinking.

Yes, it's a slick set up. I've shot over 1000 suppressed rounds with mine. Fail to feed/fail to fire but not often. Mags were the issue every time. Easy to clean and install/remove. However it gets the upper and lower receiver and barrel extension extremely dirty when using a suppressor. I'm sure it would get less dirty when used without a can, but I've never tried it that way.

with all that's going on in the world, AR in 5.56 is a no brainer. I'd go with an AR patterned airsoft after that. .22lr is overhyped.

I'm optimistic the prices are going to get better. The feds have stopped sending out free money. Republicans are about to win in congress. I don't want to jinx us, but I think there's going to be good deals in the next several months.

Very good question. It's because our government doens't serve the people anymore. There is very little chance the mainland is invaded by a military force though. I mean, the southern border is under constant assault by illegal immigrants but that is accepted, unfortunately.

Ironically, full auto rifles (which are what is issued) have not been legal to manufacture for civilians since 1986. So we can't even buy one for ourselves. Similar rifles from before the ban are $30,000 grand.

I’ve taken the top one to the range as it already has rounds through it. Shoots great. Will probably keep the other one unfired in the box as a collector’s piece since I have the original box, sling, and oil can and everything.

Mirin the flex. I gotta ask how much. There's surprisingly a lot of unfired mak-90's out in the wild because boomers bought them back in the 80's and 90's and didnt shoot much more than their 2 shots per year of 30-06 to confirm zero on their deer rifle

myron those chinese AKs. id love to buy a MAK-90, but i doubt il be doing that any time soon. upgraded triggers and optics for my ARs make more sense.

Recently came back to the misc, kinda missed the banter and flying in FBI radar. Don't really have any plans to buy anymore guns (lol) but I'll probably stock up on more ammo.
