I had sold 1000 of my 5000 TGA shares at $2.70 before that last run up to $3.40.

I'll repurchase those 1000 if I can get them closer to $2 maybe 2.20 or 2.10

All I want is for them to hit this years high around $64.5 or something before earnings. I think the combo of big profits and a revised upward guidance can push it to $70 with a little exuberance.

It’s essentially a merger so a new company that will be better prepared to take on Netflix. Owned mostly by T shareholders which is kind of why I bought them. It’s a very long term hold for me being I think they will grow very well over the next 10-20yrs and I’m buying dirt cheap. Jmo.

What a time to be alive.

I'm reading articles putting UPST at under-valued levels right now. One shill is saying $1000/share.

My net worth goal I had in mind for age=35, I have surpassed by a wide margin at age=33.

UPST is almost 50% of my portfolio now, so if it actually hits $1000/share, that would put me well above my age=40 net worth goal.

mind blown; I guess I'll just sit around and read all day at that point.

Any investment miscers ITT basically retired? I know that word can be loosely defined - what I mean is - you have zero reason to do anything you don't want to do, regardless of what the $$$ would be.

I wouldn't mind just continuing to do "side hustle" stuff for fun; essentially just to break even on my living expenses while letting my investments compound…. But never have known anyone IRL who has gone this route. Everyone seems to bust their ass to the end; even the more successful business people I've met who are worth tens of millions of dollars.

Obviously these returns aren't sustainable. Perhaps I'd need to shift gears on my investments, but honestly I enjoy the idea of sitting on this computer and farting around with stocks most of the time.

NOTE: I'm no kids CREW. Dual income with gf, and she has lower lifestyle expectations than me so that makes it VERY easy.

Lmao. I couldn't care less about a koenigsegg, or any extraordinary worldly possession. I just like to do road trips, ride bicycle, read books, study markets, cook good food. The game is fun for me, not the payout. Kind of like how a chess player keeps playing chess…. It's a mental challenge.

Whenever I explain compounding to people, they'll inevitably say something like "well what if I want to use the money within a year or two?" And I legitimately never think of it that way. More money means more compounding, more stonks, more opportunities to compound more into the future.

Lmao…. That's the other thing…. I've made mistakes and still walloped the s&p over this period. Even before I bought upst, the positions I held in NVDA, AMZN, and SQ all kept me ahead of the s&p. YTD has been obscene tho, if someone showed me my stats, I'd assume they were lying to me.

Stay safe young one. I've been in the 1000%+ gain ytd crew on my port ITT (was 1100% March 2020 to Feb 2021), let me tell you the ride down is less fun haha.

In my opinion the key to life is having purpose. For some that's having a career/work direction, for others they can find that purpose in hobbies or having a family.

Personally, if I had 2mil in the bank I don't think I could stop working. If I quit my job and sat around I'd be an alcoholic in 2 weeks.

This exactly along with a bunch of the points you mentioned HMFIC_BROWSIN. Work is my main source of challenge and adventure, and it provides structure and purpose for life. More money the merrier, but it's mostly just on the side and a way to ensure a high quality of life (mainly for my woman / dogs / future kids) and to help facilitate experiences.

I think you'd also very quickly stop appreciating all the free time, we adapt to new circumstances at an insane pace

I also don't care about material items. Financial independence is the ultimate goal.
