That’s silly. Just buy warrants at that rate.

I hope some of you no oilcels are changing your ways. Speculation in oil/energy seems likely to get out of control. Cushing OK, which is a key storage hub, is emptying fairly quickly on high purchasing volumes from SK and India. Gas (refined crude) inventories have been dropping too w/ maintenance at refiners and probably in some part due to the hurricane awhile ago. I won’t shill my positions any more than I already have, but seems like lots of serious discussions that oil could get close to the $100/barrel level again by Dec/Jan.

In my personal opinion too some of the black gold companies aren’t trading with future pricing in mind, but based on historical prices from the last couple years. That could flip quickly on a sentiment shift.

Not a damn thing. Depending on your broker. Hopefully you didn’t choose Chinese related brokers.

Except it takes a long ass time for your broker to convert. You are stupid if you try and do it with a big portion of your account. You can get screwed hard AF if you don’t have the ability to short shares and the shares tank before your broker gets them to you.

The smart move is to short the shares and then buy warrants and redeem them to cover your short position. Then you are locked in.

Because you can't exercise warrants until the criteria laid out in the S1 is met, which for starters usually includes the business combination being closed.

Hate to burst the bubble on the "trade of the year" but this is directly from their S1.

Exercise period The warrants will become exercisable on the later of:

• 30 days after the completion of our initial business combination, and

• 12 months from the closing of this offering;

Kinda random- but thinking of the power supply problem- this could cause crypto stuff to diminish as a safe asset. Lots of countries are struggling to keep power on- means getting on computer might not be as reliable and intangible assets requiring a computer and power might not be as appealing in 2nd/3rd world countries.

Also high power costs will significantly impact costs to run the crypto networks. Less miners makes costs go up for transactions no?
