F*cken coinbase wallet charged me $40 in ETH to swap a few dollars for a crypto, but my dollars are still the same amount and I didn’t get the crypto… I e-mailed them (gonna die of old age before these arseholes get back to me, I bet)

Anyone with experience have any further suggestions?

Apparently Charlie Monger bought Baba at 180 and at 150 or something along those lines.

WSJ has a good article today about inflation and how you shouldn't be afraid. Decent read. It goes into how established tech isn't means for a crash concern like it used to be (obviously, but there's fearcels itt who think it's still 1999)

I'm getting into LCID long term.

IMO it's the closest thing to Tesla. Their tech is good, CEO is smart, starting to deliver cars. It's basically like an early tesla. Going to be interesting to see demand and production ramp.

Very, very risky move. I still recommend Tesla because it's a safer and better investment.

I'm just here to make $. Just an island boy trying to make it.

Why not just buy tesla? Not that their stockprice is necessarily reflecting it but lucid is almost a full year behind their original production schedule that was released during their SPAC presentation and will be near the bottom of the list for suppliers if there are supply chain issues.

Tesla holder and owner since 2017

No one ****ing with Tesla

Lucid right now is very risky. We gotta see if their cars run into any issues and if they can Ramp. Right now their deliveries are going to be low and they are going to burn tons of cash. They only raised 5 billion so
Next year is going to be interesting

I think Tesla's greatest strength is the fanatical following, many of whom are retail shareholders. Doing great as a vehicle manufacturer sure, electric powertrains seem top tier sure, but the following is just insane

Currently posting quite a bit on a Tesla forum as an offshoot of my research and the amount of money these people are dropping on Tesla products… People here are probably pretty familiar with the usual rules of thumb for financially-sound vehicle purchases: buy used 3-5 years old, drive it into the ground, etc etc. These people are running contrary to every rule there is, constantly upgrading to brand new luxury vehicles and blowing money left right and center on options.

Read one thread the other day where a dude admitted to spending $68,000 on Autopilot and FSD between 11 vehicles since 2016, half of it on a product that wasn't publicly available at the time and still isn't five fukking years later. And he only owns one of those vehicles now! Absolutely mind-bottling, it's no wonder the stock price is where it is

Yes, that makes it an amazing brand.

But what people do not understand this isn't an EV race, it's a technology race. There are tons of new developments from tesla, regarding battery tech or manufacturing tech.

Then, FSD will happen, they are currently running the largest AI training program/real world experiment. Even the updates in beta fsd have been exponential. Machine learning gets very good, very fast, and tesla probably has the best team.

Then, mapping potential with their cars driving around, mapping everything. Data collection for insurance, etc.

Telsa bot, a humanoid robot that can free up tons of labor and create more GDP.

It will be the most valuable company in the world.
