Elon Musk’s “Fanboy” Bet Nearly Everything On Tesla—And Made Billions

In March 2020, when equity markets tumbled and margin calls loomed, billionaire Leo Koguan was forced to sell much of his stock portfolio, including the vast majority of 12 million Tesla shares he then owned. Amid the early pandemic chaos, Koguan decided to act: he says he sold the rest of his stock holdings (including shares of Baidu, Nvidia, China Mobile and Nio) and used the proceeds to buy long-term call options on Tesla — in effect, betting the house.

It was a risky move but it paid off: Tesla shares have skyrocketed more than 1,440% since March 1. Koguan says he’s plowed trading profits back into Tesla, and that today 100% of his stock portfolio consists of Tesla shares and call options. According to bank documents shared with Forbes, Koguan owns 6.3 million shares of Tesla and over 1.8 million in-the-money Tesla call options, as of Sep. 24.

It looks tired. Lots of smaller tech companies are down big tho (ZM, CHGG, TDOC, RNG, ect) no idea how its still this high….I was right on my energy calls, but calling a top is super hard, especially since QQQ has been going up nonstop for awhile. Good luck to the guys still in it.

BTW, anyone who missed oil plays gold and silver are getting ready to run. Loaded up on GDXJ, KGC, SILJ, ect

What's the deal with pltr I lowered my position by half. I was sitting at 4000 shares I'm down to 2000.
Took half of it and dumped it into lkco so far I'm up 1000$ on a 18k investment..

I will be buying more oil tomorrow

Too much positive buzz around pltr in recent days. Everything popped except pltr… I think a pop is very possible.

for anybody looking into afrm before earnings (next week) - base on my super natural charting skills I'm predicting a dip given that we broke two +/- ascending wedges

I don't see a lot of support below current price

what kind of question is this?

All I can tell you is that TSMC is building a plant in Phoenix right now. It is HUGE. Biggest building I've ever seen. srs. There's like 11 cranes out there as I type.

GMBL printing again pre market. I took a gamble and bought shares yesterday morning after reading it on SW.

Didn’t buy CHGG, yet. My order canceled before it hit my limit. Kind of glad, it’s lower now.

I agree, I don't see it with PTON. I've tried to find a reason to like the company. It's not happening post covid.

My uncle who is a developer in gilbert was telling me the other day about TSMC, there are quite a few job openings in my field there. I'm almost about to be forced to relocate to Phoenix..

What happened is a spin-off.

There's just a massive unloading of market capitalization in the process of fragmenting their businesses.

It isn't a "drop", just a "division" of their workings.

Unless I'm missing something.

OLB crew… apparently.. because I don’t remember why I bought it or what the company does, LOL, and I was like 20% down on it or something, but not selling at a loss, no f*cks given. OLB up 75% pre market now.

P.s.
Still no clue what that is or why I bought it…

Da fak?? Wish I bought more tho
