Cash flow and not paying into CPP and EI are the biggest things for me. There are pros and cons to dividends or setting yourself up as an employee, for example my RRSP contribution room is no longer increasing while paying myself through dividends, but the CPP and EI savings are pretty significant IMO. I never fukn use EI anyways and would rather do my own retirement investing than pay into a socialized program.

I'm sure there's other stuff but just started doing this a year and a half ago and definitely don't know it as well as tax-focused accountants etc

Imagine if SOFI took off and Palantir $30 LEAPs were moving.

Before earnings. Before a god damn fukking show explained the SoFi game on the bank charter, just like they explained the Chipotle momentum news tank attack with the Juice.

Do your own research, but people get food sickness on the regular and it doesn’t become a news story, it was a short attack. If you aren’t watching Billions to understand the world, and Succession you should be in ETFs and give up on life. Literally people are handing you the game and you’re ignoring it.

So one thing I’ve tried to explain is that Sep 1 is the start of the Federal Fiscal Year. Now I’ll just directly state it, expect new federal contracts in Palantir’s earning call and a jump.

Take it with the grain of salt that I’m the most chit on Miscer that’s made people millions.

Good luck.

There’s a reason politicians own LEAPs, there’s a reason politicians chose a job they can get rich in with literally just fukking around, and having fun dinners and lunches all day. They’re clowns, but they figured the system out. Follow the clowns.

If you don’t know how many former Palantir consultants are ENTRENCHED with government then you’re oblivious.

Being dramatic to make a point.

The amount of LEAPs reported by the Senate and House in Palantir will be astounding when they make their public disclosures

I mean just look at the *** 1980’s hustle they’re doing, they even stole Dr. Kassler.

I see no thanks for my SOFI call ****oooot.

They'll drop after earnings you heard it here first. I expect $18-22.5 will be the range they'll be stuck in. They'll be calling in warrants and it'll drop share price. Earnings gonna look terrible due to warrants being expensive.

We do this in my wife's business as well.

For the other homie asking:

In Canada, the taxable value on a dividend is 50% of that capital gain. So you pay whatever income tax bracket your in on 50% of that gain.

The corp pays her a minimal salary, just enough to keep generating RRSP contributions but stay in a low tax bracket. I can't remember the exact number but it's < $60,000 a year.

This way you can tax save as you keep your income bracket lower.

Smart brah, yeah I'll likely decrease what I pay myself out of the company and retain more cash within it over the next couple years

I grew up on 100 acres. Think my dad paid 100k for it. He’s made back like 500k selling a few small plots to people he didn’t mind building houses and owning land closer to our house over the years.

Was that white button mushrooms and portobellos? Made it a few weeks back, turned out pretty good but dont think I got it exactly right. Wife liked it.

Imo they bundled a bunch of meme shorts and passed around the time bomb hot potato

So one fuse lights and others can too.

Gme was gamma neutral at 195 and already fought to 205 where every rise after starts to get hedged more. Bbby just pushed it into “let’s make the algos go crazy” territory
