Bought into GME and OCGN at open and regretted it immediately. Took some major losses, already sold and aborted ship.

While that was going on I was playing around with the swinging nature of PTPI which keeps fluctuating between $2.96 and $3.35. With some limit orders (and stop limits to prevent bad losses) managed to recover MOST of what happened to me with GME and OCGN lol. Still pissed and working at it though.

Starting to go green AF wit ma tech stonks

Edit- Back in the day TSLA was the most shorted stock and it never died, people lost massive amounts trying to short it…but it generally stayed strong then had an astronomical run-up. If history repeats itself then I would not be shorting TSLA lol

As stated here, got burned hard by GME and OCGN. Roughly $2300-2400 in losses due to buying at open and selling after realizing a rebound wasn't gonna happen.

Thankfully played with the PTPI stuff, it moved all over the place between $2.70 and $3.60. It was heart pumping tbh lol. Made a lot of transactions, some that were in hindsight too risky to have been made, but got roughly $1550 or so profit from these plays. Jealous of anyone that bought towards the end of the market at like $2.70 and sold for $3.40 or higher.

Portfolio performed +$484 outside of the above, so my net loss from today's activities is roughly $400. Way better than it could've been.

Made a play at the end of the market on KALA, bought ~3000 shares, supposed to be some earnings news, potential price spike tomorrow. Maybe it'll be enough to make me forget about today's mess I made for myself.

EDIT:

My quick takeaway: Don't buy news/hype at open. Study it for a while for the first 15 minutes or so at least. Glad that I at least only did limit orders. Could've been way worse with market orders. Hopefully tomorrow's takeaway isn't "never buy hype just before market close" lol, regarding KALA.

Anyone have opinions on MRUS stock?

Took a naked short position on it but I am getting burned right now..

They just reported earnings, it beat expectations but the earnings are still chit..

Stock went up..

There are no hard to borrow fees so I may just hold the short a few months if needed until they report Q4 earnings..

Unless I see a better opportunity, I can exit out and come back for a revenge short later lol.

TSLA is about the closest thing to crypto gains in the stock market right now. I've come to the conclusion its still going to run up high AF then split again, srs. They are way too ahead of the game now and not simply just a car company. The tequila was a good example of how people buy ANYTHING Tesla related. We have a whole new generation of Tesla fanboys too. Yes it'll probably correct a little but this chit is looking like its going to 2k. Elon has many cards he can pull to get this thing to rally even more. Seems like he's so influential and powerful he could practically sell fecal matter and make a profit.
