Tried and true NVDA making my portfolio really green.
I tried to see if I could capitalize on some quick profits from NRDS (Nerd Wallet) since it was launched publicly today, got burned for ~$570 by the time I decided to abandon ship. Did similar with BTTX, which I mentioned earlier in the thread, there was hype and potential for some major squeezes but it didn't work at all, so got burned for about $524 due to that. Roughly $1095 in losses on these plays.
Meanwhile here I am watching NVIDIA blow up in my portfolio.
Decided to take advantage and bought 5 OOTM $500 strike March 2023 Calls for a total of $12863.35, and flipped it within a few minutes for 13496.55, netting me $633.20. So that at least made up for more than half of the losses on my earlier plays. NVDA is blowing up all day though, very happy for the company.
Still kicking myself for not buying OOTM contracts on them last week like I was going to. Their bid/ask more than tripled today, srs.
