Let's see, Woman friend I slept with Father's day morning (we were both too smashed to bang that night and i'm not on that rapey time) doesn't seem interested in getting together again like that.

Which is fine and expected. I've banged her before and she only seems to want me when I don't pay attention to her and other women flirt with me in front of her. in the past I tried to date her and would ask her out after sex and she just ignored me and blew me off.
The last few months since she became single again i've not initiated contact and when she texts me I either didn't respond or if she texted me at night I responded late next morning and if she texted me early I responded later in the evening.
It makes her want me for some reason. LOL!

So after this time banging her i've gone back to the way I treated her before.
She texted me the other day to tell me she was "lonely" so I told her to come over for some drinks and she gave some lame excuse so I didn't even respond.
Then she texts me about how overwhelming it is being a single woman with a house and no man to fix things.
I don't even respond to that nonsense either.

Although I'm toying with the idea of suggesting a trade of "services"
But I really have to many projects on my own house so probably won't. LOL

Let's see went out with sister's friend going through a divorce.
She's early 40's and fit AF. definite bedroom acrobat / throw her around like a sex doll candidate.

But, her soon to be ex has been getting violent and she has had to call the police on him multiple times.
She lives a few blocks from me and she has caught him following her to see where she goes when she leaves the house despite him not living there anymore.
I do not want to get involved with anyone in this type of situation and made that clear. but told her we can still be friends until she is divorced and he is handled.
she is still talking to talking to me and wants to hang for a free outdoor concert next week.
If I bang her i'm going to have to keep banging her and date her and potentially have to deal with her idiot ex.
I'm too old for that chit.
but we will see where that goes.

My buddy introduced me to a woman he knows who lives around me last weekend.
She's looking for a relationship which is fine with me and she is attractive late 30's but has no kids and likes to go out every weekend where I have my kids every weekend.
She also doesn't go out until 10 or 11 at night and i'm the type where if i'm not out of the house by 9:30 i'm getting ready for bed since I wake at 5am to lift. LOL.
so that probably won't go anywhere.

That's my summer update so far.
nothing too promising but i'm getting a ton of chit done outside in the yard/deck.

its possible genetically you guys are not a match. Maybe its subtle smells, pheromones (if they exist) or something else thats letting your body know you won't have the best offspring.

I fixed up my profile a bit. I like hipster dudes, but not the ones that dresses like it. More into preppy/yuppie types.

But thanks. Thinking of deleting Bumble this weekend. It's not going anywhere. I may go to a local meet up next week and try to get out and meet more people in the city.

I am feeling much, much better after reading this. Maybe it's not me, after all. However, I had so much luck in the beginning of my dating life and found so much easier reliable partners, people that I liked without being or doing anything special. Either I'm more pretentious or more fuked up. I think dating apps are the worst for me, after fitting in my schedule meetings, I don't remember who is what and how much I actually liked that person.

Tbh I wish you are right and it's not me setting my standards too high and soon to be a 25 yo without a long term relationship, while I have 27 yo friends who are married. I will review my list and set my priorities, like what do I really want.

You'll have the most chemistry with a woman that had the same kind of parents as your own. if you had a ****ed up childhood, you don't sort it out. You are who you are. It's pretty much set in stone by the time you are 5.

What do you think about young girls that never had a paternal figure in their life, @pondus_levo ? People refer to promiscuous behaviour as ''daddy's issues'' , what about those who literally became what they missed ? I find myself very protective with what I perceive as innocent/weak, but I also find myself really strong/ goal-achiever/ resilient. I don't sloot because I'm secretly judging non-ideal behavior in anything that I do. It's like denying ice-cream every time you want it, because you don't like the weight-gaining results. I think this ''following my ideal behavior'' type of personality is also related to ''daddy's issues'', same as my perfectionist behavior and control-freak. Have you met mature women that sound close to my description ? If yes, how do they end ?

Also, what do you mean when you say damaged women? Most women have insecurities and an ideal family background is not the only contributing factor to who you become, people get traumatized in their 30s too, so why is it different than someone with childhood issues ?

Today I have my appointment with my counselor, kind of ashamed/ uncomfortable to discuss with her those topics

What does it even mean to have the same relationships as your parents did ? What if one of them is absent since you were really small ? Mind-blowing that I could associate this with me being comfortable alone. Have I understood that being alone is the regular ?
