I have a Mark and hate it. Only positive is it's a good suppressor host. And pistil suppressors are 99% dumb so really nothing positive.
I like my Heritage Rough Rider 100 times better and it's 1/3 the price. On sale at a few places and $30 manufacturer rebate atm.
TX22 is supposed to be good also.

Chrome is better for continuos full auto (useless characteristic for civilians), but with chrome lining you get phosphate for the barrel exterior. Phosphate is porous and needs oil to maintain it's corrosive resistance. QPQ has better corrosion resistance and is generally more accurate. However, Daniel Defense chrome lined is probably more accurate than a Balistic Advantage QPQ, and either barrel treatment is going to exceed your requirements. So I'd care more about the maker than the treatment/lining (between QPQ and chrome/phosphate).

Ballistic advantage makes Aero Precision barrels, so yeah they're not BCM, but they're def not BCA.

It's just a single sample size, but my BA barrels are accurate and have a great finish, nice barrel extension and a good crown. They make good barrels.

I have a 9" 300 blk BA barrel that has impressive accuracy with good ammo.

Magpul flip up iron sights front and rear, with a holosloot red dot sight. Is this the way?

Also went to the range today for the first time in over 4 months. I was shaking off the rust with my rifle and iron sights up to 100 yards. Never shot past 80, and most people would be able to tell lmao. I did okay for my lack of experience, at 100 yards I had anywhere from 3"-8" inch groupings. Up to 50 yards my groupings were tight like prom night.

Solid range day yesterday.

Shooting bay was about 150m long by 40m wide. Set up 12 different shooting positions with one steel target and six USPSA carboard targets.

Full view of the course. First position is standing supported on the left white post. Engage steel at 140m. Run to the berm on the right (pic of me on it above) and engage same steel target at 140m.

View of the course from the top of the berm.

After shooting from the berm, run down to the first car using the car's left bumper to engage steel from 130m.
Move around the right side of the shed and use the hood of the black SUV to engage cardboard at 125m.
Move left to the trunk of the white car and engage cardboard from 125m.
Move up to the black/red cars and engage steel from prone behind the front of the black car at 100m.
Run up to the left of the black car to cones and engage steel from 80m in the kneeling unsupported.
Run up and right to the big tire and engage carboard from 70m.
Run to the far right white car and engage through the passenger door and windshield on steel at 65m.
Move to the trunk of the same car end engage cardboard through the back window/driver's window at 65m.
Run laterally left to the hood of the white SUV and engage cardboard at 65m.
Run laterally left to the far left vehicle and engage from standing unsupported over the roof at cardboard at 65m.

Incorporated four unknown mag changes throughout the course. Timed each run and tracked points based on accuracy. Was a fun one for sure.

i own the TX22, i actually like it better than the Glock 44. A co worker has the G44 and i shot it, it was ok, too heavy for a 22 LR TBH.

Then i ran into the TX22 and it was definitely a better firearm. Lighter, not as snappy and shoots flat AF

I looked at those since I wanted a beretta 92 but didn't have cash at the time.

Not the same as a beretta, a little more snappy but its not terrible. Just a knock off.

lol, it's pretty easy. Apparently even more so if you're fishnbrah. Probably just uses his bare hands to torque.

I've done it a few times. You need a barrel nut wrench and action vise/reaction rod. Go/No Go gauges are preferrable, although some shortcut that buy using tape on a case head to substitute as a No Go. Torque wrench is good, too, and will help you from breaking things, but farmer tight is an option as well.

You friend have dealings in Maryland? Just today, saw a post in the mdshooters forum for a girsan regard with rail. I can't see the whole ad, but here's a quote: "I have a lightly used Turkish made Girsan MC Beretta 92F clone with rail. Bought this used, previous owner stated he only shot a couple hundred rounds and it appears that way. There's no wear mark on the barrel. Only worn spot is on the rail, from being inserted in the holster.

I shot 20 rounds through it, a few weeks ago for function check, it shot well and accurate. The only bad is MecGar mag will not activate slide when it's empty, otherwise it fed and functioned fine. Only one mag…"

Currently going for $310. I don't have a feel for how good these clones are compared to a real Beretta, but seems like your friend did ok. I can't imagine being dropped would be a huge deal. My beretta (92x RDO Compact) was around $650 new, for reference.
