Tudor really is playing on another level right now. They're definitely a notch above omega at this point. I say this having owned multiple watches from each company. Tbh, I hated the blue pelagos when it first came out, wasn't appealing to me at all. Kinda went out on a limb for this one and was pleasantly surprised.

if any of the gold links are scratched, and still gold unerneather the scratch, could be possibly real cause any fake would have just used some kind of plating over real steel revealing siler under the gold. Idk about the crown logo placement on the clasp tho, maybe it's a vintage piece but all of the subs I have handled use the crown as a lever on the flip lock

If I'm.not mistaken its a yacht master clasp, but the dial reads submariner. Not sure but I have my doubts brah

Take it to a jeweler and have them check it out, tell them you inherited it and weren't sure if it was a fake.

Hello Misc Wristwatch Crew! I'm looking to buy a two-tone Rolex Submariner like the one pictured below to commemorate my 30th birthday and graduation with my MBA next year. At first I really wanted a brand new one, but now I'm leaning more towards getting a used one due to the fact that I can save money and not lose much value on it. My max budget is $10K if needed, but I'd ideally like to spend anywhere from $6-8K. Where would you guys suggest is the best place for me to find one in "like new" condition? I don't want anything too old, so anything after 2009 is preferable. I'm not a watch enthusiast by any means so any additional information or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Thanks. You're right, they did use a red GMT hand for a while. I think this model has been around since 2011 or so.

I really love rubberb. i put the daytona on a black rubberb (deployant). i had to do it again, I would get tang/buckle instead. its easier to adjust the length. on a rubberb deployant, if you cut it too short, theres nothing you can do to put the length back on
