IGF-1 is more potent for muscle growth but you aren't gaining at your full potential without DHT

Incorrect. You're looking at minimum a month, depending on the ester of testosterone you are using and your bodies natural ability to recover. Likely to be longer the longer you've been pinning. Your HPT axis will take up to a year to fully recover again depending on what you've been using and for how long. If you're using 19-nors like deca or tren, the metabolites will live in your blood for up to 9 months after you stop which will affect your HPT axis and ability for your body to regulate hormones and therefore how 5ar interacts with them.
