Except my recent mod rep, the majority of the time Id get randomly negged from guys with 1k+ rep power for no reason at all. No comment, just negged cuz they know I couldnt dent them. You cant travel into the misc or sports section without getting negged for your honest opinion 3/4 of the time. Its a total joke.

If your not in a ****get E-crew, reps are hard to come by. They just rep trade all day long, its rediculous. If your gona get rid of rep betting, make "crews" bannable offenses especially the "sea" threads and eliminate the sh!tty rep system. This site would be so much better, its unreal.
I have seem people in the sea, no sea, usmc, other e-crews get repped daily even by MODs. To be honest, I don't really care because I have no interested in the e-crews. I do enjoys the betting thread. By getting rid of the betting thread and not the e-crews seem to be unfair IMO.

Ok, I m done with it. Not thing that I or other members voice will get hear from the MODs.
If motivation comes in a liquid form, it would be dripping off my fingers tips.

Well dude, I will have to say that it does suck you keep getting negged. I guess that is why this is happening as they have to stop the bleeding somehow.

Now I don't know you and I would really like to rep you for that post, but herein lies the problem. What is considered a worthy post now without running the risk of getting some taken away from me if Fitty deems I am rep abusing or repping for nothing.

Yeah I know I am at 35K but I would still like to keep what I have instead of being knocked down for something they may deem not worthy.

A clarification on that would be helpful as well.

Who are you to point out anything? Are you a mod?

Let the mods take care of who is and who is not breaking the rules. It's their job , not yours.

Rep Betting is no longer allowed here at BB.com.

If you start a Rep Betting thread YOU WILL be infracted, your thread closed, and the possibility of Negs added into the mix for repeat offenders.

This rule has been put in place, as one piece of a larger effort to improve board rep quality.

On behalf of the rest of the Mod Staff I would like to thank you all in advance for embracing this policy change.

Thank You
There is no logic behind your move, because the rep system itself is broke. Useless. Stupid. Retarded. >Put any other derogatory word in here<

Normal people who post good opinions, anywhere on the board, don't get repped often, and when they do, it moves their points by 1, and even then, it's lucky if that happens. On the other hand, the people who have been mod-repped go around negging everybody for the smallest disagreement, we're talking about a disagreement, not abusive language, arrogant remarks etc. In order to reach a respectable level of reps where you don't have to fear retaliation, you would have to be repped thousands of times in order to reach even a 1000.

Rep bet section has been a fun distraction and a way for posters to fix the rep system.

If you really wanted to improve rep quality, you should do one of the following:

1. Remove all rep power from mods
2. Change and reset the system, so that each rep or neg brings more rep power to the receiver
3. Remove reps all together

I would like to see number 2 because it is only fair that good and helpful comments are properly rewarded. In fact, I might inform the customer service/Ryan, whoever, because idiotic "negs" are distancing people away from the website and affecting the business.

The only time I really rep bet is during football season. It made the sports section a little exciting but I can understand as many members who joined over the past year or 2 have more or less posted only in the rep bet threads, and have aquired massive rep power in little time. I wish it could have been contolled somehow rather than disallowed all together.

A forum is made up of people expressing their opinions and as a member and someone who actually spends money at bb.com, I feel I have a right to express my opinion.

Sorry you dont feel the same way.

LOL….I spend money in bb.com too. Many people do. Spending money doesn't give anybody the right to lecture others about rule infractions. Again, that is a mod's job. That's what they volunteered for.

Your job as a poster is too express your opinion that adds substance to a thread or topic. Not police the forum for rule breakers. We don't need any more self proclaimed Barney Fifes running a muck.

maybe we can all focus a bit more on bodybuilding
"The flowers bloom, then wither… The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I liked just the competetion angle of rep betting. There was nothing better than some asshat Yankee fan being forced to rep me.

And I got an infraction for my "Rep Bet: will there be a rep bet forum tomorrow?" thread. Prolly deserved, though. Will that stay in my CP forever now?
