The guy was repping 6 plates for 6-8 clean reps (conventional). He had the best bio-mechanics for a deadlift I had ever seen in person, crazy monkey arms. I'm not saying 6 plates is unimpressive or anything but there's people out there who are built very well for a deadlift and may never have to take training or the gym very seriously to achieve it.
I'm known as "the deadlift guy" in my gym lol. The Biggest Guy In my gym (deadlifts 7 plates) was cheering me on couple weeks ago..every single person in the gym was watching. Felt weird as fuk lol but im getting most the elite powerlifter/strongmen respect now in my gym. They are all teched up 250lbs kunts

Edit: and the guy I knew who had a killer deadlift also had a crappy bench, I'm talking like 275ish, maybe 295 for a 1rm. Meanwhile he could probably smoke 7+ plates on the dead and make it look easy.

Either way, doesn't make the DL in the OP any less impressive.

Sumo just ain't my cup of tea really, and i do still think it should be in a seperate category, but obviously no one has any right to discredit a 900lb lift regardless of technique, thats strong AF

600lbs or even near by December would make me ecstatic. And then 7 plates by end of 2017 hopefully...race you there?
