Sumo, doesn't count.

Bet our boy Pete Rubish would beat him if they were both pulling conventional.

I assume you're referring to squats (even though this thread is about a deadlift?)

Obviously a squat without wraps is harder.

Guess it's a good thing there is two categories for PLing competition squats: those with wraps and those without.

If you don't like using wraps/others using wraps while squatting, simply compete in a Fed that doesn't use them...

Sht looks like it'll break your back. Why doesn't?

And if you have a strong back, does it mean less chance of injury doing daily tasks or moving smaller weight like furniture?

been through this over and over...no one is gonna start over from conventional to a new style of lifting (sumo) and adjust their technique just to prove a point.

Just accept that conventional > sumo and stop crying...get fukin real

People get injured by doing things wrong. These guys approach the lift in the same fashion they would a fight; you aren't going in soft and lazy. People get hurt moving furniture becuz it's done in a lazy way.

These lifts are done with your entire body, tight as fuk and with sumo...much more of your quads and hams are used rather than the rounded back that can happen with conventional.

And to chitheadsheen..."better" how? Please know you're wrong...I don't care how many 140 lbs virgins agree with you.
