Brah can you summarize what the general products are and what they do (in short)?
Also I don't really understand when/why a guy would start doing all these things. I only wash my face with water and my skin looks great, a side from a few minor things which isn't really noticable or doesn't bother me. I am still pretty young though (25). Is all those products really gonna prevent or at least delay wrinkles?

grow beard to cover bad skin crew
I use home made product of vitamin e cream mixed with olive oil, ACV and tea tree oil. It's cheap, natural and my moisturizer, acne reducer all in one (hopefully).

I will deal with oily skin for the rest of my life, very conscious about having my face shiny any time of the day. Drink plenty of water and diet is in good check.
I never try anything I just do it!

I have indented scars on my face, I went to a skin specialist and he said they could do laser on me but it won't really make much of a difference. Is there really no treatment for this? My indents are not much just a small area

Op What are your thoughts on Retin-A?
Also what would be a good BEGINNER routine to start on.
This is my current routine.
Morning:
wash face - put on Moisturizer with SPF
Before bed:
Moisturizer and then put on Retin-A.
What else should I add?

why dont you use retin a?
why vitamin c only once a month?
i heard derma rollers can make small holes in your skin so i've been hesitant to use them. is there a specific roller or stamp that you recommend?

Vit C once a month is useless. And that brand OP posted is not the best quality, as lurkolantern alluded to in his post. I used a few of the various top rated amazon brands. some are good, most arent. Real Vit C with ascorbic acid goes bad after a few months and most need to be refrigerated and the maker should make note of that on the label. No hate on OP, great thread, but these are the two most useful "actives" in skincare and should be used and used properly
skinceuticals (OG $120 vit c serum) has a patent on their combination and PH level. so if you get something cheaper, you want it to as closely mimic their formulation as possible (slightly diff PH to get around patent). a few amazon brands do that.

I made a similar point about dealing with skin issues from within through dialing in your diet, using supplements etc. and you just ignored that as well.
You're just doing damage control with topical treatments and forking over tonnes of cash to these skin care companies in the process. They've got you sucked in brah.
If good skin was a product of how well you treat and maintain your skin on the surface (ie: the paint job on your car) how do you explain someone with basically perfect skin all their life that never uses any of these products? It clearly all comes from within your body. The blemishes on your skin are an expression of an imbalance somewhere inside your body. Obviously we don't understand what exactly leads to perfect skin or how to perfectly treat different issues but just using simple logic its obvious that putting chit on your face is not the solution.
I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that its much easier to drop a $100 on some creams and put them on every night than it is to fix your diet and maintain it long term. The rest is very effective marketing.

your idea is right but you are confusing products and ingredients
you also are really confused about the way correlation and causation works.

Is OP still answering questions?
I only get acne on my chin..the cystic kind. I think they have something to do with my keratin plugs. Because the only way they will go down is if the keratin plug comes out. I can touch any place on my face and never get acne, except for my chin. I'll touch it once and boom, there goes another cystic acne.
Wut do OP?
Also any mild regiment recommendations for my face? All I do is wash face, 2.5% benzyl peroxide then cetaphil lotion in morning and night

None of that garbage does anything.
The only skin products that actually work are prescription retinoids (retin-A, tazorac, etc) and maybe high strength chemical peels. The junk that you have listed, is mostly placebo or just temporary moisturization. It does not do anything substantial.
Skin care "pro" LOL.

Basically just outing OP as a fraud seeing as he claims to be a skin care expert but refuses to talk about skin care unless it involves $60 products from sephora.
you also are really confused about the way correlation and causation works.
